Absolutely amazing service,took my very scared dog penny today they chipped and clipped her with no issues,(previously had problems with other clipping services) the staff and Donal are so friendly,had my severely autistic daughter with me,they were also very engaging, friendly and patient with her too definitely 5 stars also very reasonable price for the services I recived.

Hands down, the worst vet I have ever been to. He is super expensive, gave me medication for my dog I didn't need and his bedside manner is appalling. He druged my dog and THEN proceeded to make up a huge over inflated bill that took him 20 mins. I knew it was too much when he produced it, but it was too late, my dog was now too sedated to take anywhere else. I then found out the ingectios he gave me were 40 euro. In the end what he charged me 128 euros for, I could have got for 80 as I later found out from other vets. He also tried to intimate something else wrong, when there clearly wasn't. I have since heard many reports from my neighbours and other dog owners that would make your blood run cold. But that is for other people to talk about. Suffice to say they were truly shocking. Never again.
I never write reviews. But I was so upset with how my dog and I were treated, I had to. There are so many vets in Limerick. Don't go to this guy, he will rip you off and treat you like dirt to boot.

Where do I start? Our first visit to Donal and Crew at City Vet Limerick 2 years ago, after a recommendation from a friend, saw our very old rescue terrier, Ben, going in for surgery to have 13 teeth removed! (Donal even gave me his teeth back to put under his pillow for the Tooth Fairy). I really did not think I would see him alive again, he has severe heart problems. but thanks to the treatment and care he received he bounced back and is on meds for his heart problems, he is flying it now and will probably outlive all of us (well you can dream). Jack our JRT (another oldie) had a bad experience at another vets a few years ago, and nearly died because they over anaesthesed him for a lumpectomy. Jack is going in to Donal on Wednesday for a couple of teeth to be removed, I have every confidence that Jack will have the very best of care and will come through this operation with ease. I would not trust my dogs to any other vet! Thank you City Vet for ensuring my dogs will be with me for a long time.

Hands down, the worst vet I have ever been to. He is super expensive, gave me medication for my dog I didn't need and his bedside manner is appalling. Our first visit to Donal and Crew at City Vet Limerick 2 years ago, after a recommendation from a friend, saw our very old rescue terrier, Ben, going in for surgery to have 13 teeth removed!
