Lodge Veterinary Hospital (LVH) was established by veterinary surgeon, John Corrigan, in 2006. It is a fully accredited small animal hospital, dedicated solely to companion animal healthcare.
LVH offers full medical, diagnostic and surgical facilities, boarding kennels and cattery for pet holidays, as well as an out of hours emergency service.

Couldn't agree with the other reviewers more! Amazing vets who genuinely care about the animals and their owners. We've had our dog in for checkups, boarding, grooming and been referred to a specialist in Galway for a TPLO - every experience every time no matter how small or complex is dealt with care and compassion!

Thank you so much for taking excellent care of our Boerboel, Lottie last week. We were holidaying in Westport when she suddenly got sick and you saw her straight away. You were so thorough and knowledgeable and really took your time to ensure she was ok. It's always a worry when your dog is sick but especially when you're away, thanks for being so kind and reassuring.

Very caring and dedicated staff. We use the hospital to take care of our parrots when we go on holiday, never a problem. The only minor gripe would be the fact they have no cages on site for birds to stay in. Parrot cages can be heavy to transport!.

If l lived in the Westport area, this is the Veterinary practice at which I would choose to register our precious 2 dogs. The vets are both kind and compassionate and this is amply evidenced by the care they give my sister's dogs and cats.

No complaints at all with Lodge, they took in and looked after the cat for a week, the moggie came back in great condition and seemed happy - I asked the cat for further comment but she told me to sod...
No complaints at all with Lodge, they took in and looked after the cat for a week, the moggie came back in great condition and seemed happy - I asked the cat for further comment but she told me to sod off; I think her exact response was "go write your own frikkin reviews".... she's not a team player.The cost of kenneling is 9 Euro a night, which I think is pretty reasonable.You can collect and deliver pets on a Sunday, but only by prearrangement and the times are very strict - not a big deal and great to have the option.

You were so thorough and knowledgeable and really took your time to ensure she was ok. It's always a worry when your dog is sick but especially when you're away, thanks for being so kind and reassuring.

Very caring and dedicated staff. We use the hospital to take care of our parrots when we go on holiday, never a problem. The only minor gripe would be the fact they have no cages on site for birds to stay in. Parrot cages can be heavy to transport!.
