Avoid this practice - brought our pet here, two days of tests & investigations – charged over €700. Dying pet returned home to us each evening over these two days which was very distressing for both us and our pet. Charged for scan that was not completed correctly which was confirmed by the vet in question. On day 3, we went to an experienced vet and unfortunately nothing could be done to save our beloved pet. Village Vets were estimating another cost of approx.€500-600 for day 3! Absolute disgraceful - more time spent on the shopping list of estimates which you have to consent to first before any treatment done - appears to be a very monetary driven practice. Won’t bring our precious pet back but be careful going here.

I'm very happy to bring my cats to Village Vets Dunshaughlin. The staff really are very friendly and caring. On my last visit I really felt that Ella (one of my cats) was treated with great care and consideration by all the staff. Ian, the vet, is always very patient and gentle with her (she's a very nervous and cranky cat). Though everyone (myself included) breathes a sigh of relief when Ella gets the all clear. Thanks everyone.

I had just moved into area, and had to board my beautiful cat Max for 6 days, was obviously very apprehensive, but from my initial meeting with Hannah who showed me boarding accommodation and was so understanding when I left Max in, I was so upset leaving him, but she was very kind and promised to send me photos of Max, which she did, it was obvious from photos that Max had settled in, so from my first experience, I would not hesitate in boarding Max agsin, thank you so much Hannah for everything

Recently moved to an area nearby and our 15 year old doggo got severely ill, we had to find the nearest vet to us and this is where we found Dunshaughlin Vet Hospital, I made a call early afternoon and despite the fact that we’ve never brought our dog to the clinic before the lady took down all of the required details and arranged an emergency visit. As our dog had a seizure that morning we knew that he was in a lot of pain and there won’t be a way to save him. As we arrived the vet waited for us and carried the dog from the car, we had the put our dog to sleep,l. We’ve never encountered more compassionate and professional people and cannot thank you enough for the help even though we weren’t registered at the clinic. As we’ve always had pets at home, we will make sure to use your services in the future. Thank you!

My cats stayed ten nights here, was very thankful to get the place as they hadn't had vaccines yet... staff are all very nice. But I was very disappointed not to be shown were they would be sleeping, ...
My cats stayed ten nights here, was very thankful to get the place as they hadn't had vaccines yet... staff are all very nice. But I was very disappointed not to be shown were they would be sleeping, especially when I asked for them to be sleeping together (mother and daughter and only out of a shelter a month which I explained) I think for 216 euro it's kinda expected? They came home scared of every single noise... I know cats will be cats but didn't have a great experience and couldn't vouch for the care given.

I have been a client of Dunshaughlin Vet Hospital for more than 20 years. I remember when there was only Karl & Dawn back then, but today it has grown into a very fine practice. For just over a year now, the staff there have help me become accustomed to looking after a dog, a new venture for me, and I cannot pass enough compliments.They are always on hand to answer a question, take a dog in for day care, even at short notice, and always friendly. I could list all of their names but I would be sure to leave one out, suffice to say, if you need a good Vet Hospital, go no further.

I'm very happy to bring my cats to Village Vets Dunshaughlin. The staff really are very friendly and caring. I have been a client of Dunshaughlin Vet Hospital for more than 20 years. I remember when there was only Karl & Dawn back then, but today it has grown into a very fine practice. For just over a year now, the staff there have help me become accustomed to looking after a dog, a new venture for me, and I cannot pass enough compliments.They are always on hand to answer a question, take a dog in for day care, even at short notice, and always friendly. I could list all of their names but I would be sure to leave one out, suffice to say, if you need a good Vet Hospital, go no further.
