Cannot praise this veterinary clinic enough . The team have taken care of my two very old cats 'Lucky' and 'Blackie' for the past number of years. Both are now RIP. Very sad, but they were in great hands while alive thanks to the Johnstown team. A small thing, but when I collected them on each occasion after they were euthanized they were laid out on a lovely blanket in their cat cage
Lovely card from 'Paws A While' after the sad events of their passing. Unexpected, but much appreciated.
Very reasonable rates for first class attention.

Not good my bullmastiff pup got a respitory infection and antibiotics and was in 3 or 4 times first for a checkup but they failed to see his ear was badly inflamed and he had a heart defect, I went to...
Not good my bullmastiff pup got a respitory infection and antibiotics and was in 3 or 4 times first for a checkup but they failed to see his ear was badly inflamed and he had a heart defect, I went to a vet in slane which I was advised to go to and she seen his ear instantly and said it's been like that a long time and also my pups eye was being scrapped by his lashes but wanted a heart scan she feared he had a bad heart when she listened to it and I went back the next day and she was right he had a bad heart but yet this vet failed to see any of this... He had allergies not respitory infection he's brand new now a few days later with cream and a spray, I stopped his antibiotics and hea great now where as here he was sick for weeks no improvement the tablets just masked his problem

I cannot speak highly enough of this vets practice. They have been looking after my pets' needs for the past few years and diagnosed a liver tumour in my dog Gypsy last year. My dog sadly had to be put down last week and the care I received for Gypsy was second to none. They empathy that the team showed both to Gypsy and to me was amazing and made a difficult situation more bearable. Thank you all

Visited the clinic for the first time with a 5 week old kitten on Wednesday .Our family had a truly crappy day we had our 13yr old family pet put to sleep and our vets was closed . We rushed to paws a while and the vet was so kind and did everything possible for the kitten . Thank goodness it worked and she is 100% again . I will definitely use them again their kindness was so important to us at such a hard time .

Cannot praise this veterinary clinic enough . The team have taken care of my two very old cats 'Lucky' and 'Blackie' for the past number of years. Both are now RIP. Visited the clinic for the first time with a 5 week old kitten on Wednesday .Our family had a truly crappy day we had our 13yr old family pet put to sleep and our vets was closed . We rushed to paws a while and the vet was so kind and did everything possible for the kitten . Thank goodness it worked and she is 100% again .
