Well guys and girls what can I say, you are my life line , my emergency services , with 7 dogs. 8 cats and my ponies I have often had to call on you for help, the care of my sweetheart Maisie that saw you as her 2nd home , Moose that scared you all until he grew up at 7 , my beautiful girl Jelly with her serious allergies and spine problems and then my gang now not to mention being our vets for the kennels , life without you would be so much harder. My grief is very raw but while it's clear in my head I want to thank Darran and the team at inishfree vets. I have always used them for my dogs but not to the extent I had to yesterday and today when an accident occurred and I had to call on their 24 hour emergency service. Our wonderful companion and best friend Barney, of 8 years was very accidentally run over and in shock. I rang the vets and left message, less than a minute later Darran had rang me back and told me what to do. He made barney as comfortable as he could and was honest from the start-and was as caring with me as he was to barney. Unfortunately barney died today,but Darran was so compassionate, all the other pets in the hospital kennels were took to another room, I was able to spend time with my boy on my own no rush at all until I decided it was time. Darran and the nurses did their job , closed the door and left me to grieve. Money was never spoken until I mentioned it and they never rushed me until I was ready to go. I've heard people say this vet practice is expensive, but this is unfortunately the 2nd time my family has had this experience and indeed the same vet Darran(who came out especially to my mums house to put her dog to sleep), and all I can say is money can not buy that final few moments with you and your beloved pet , and a vet that is honest from the start. We could have remortgaged our house to send barney to Galway or Dublin for surgery but Darran was honest from the start. This is the best veterinary clinic that I have been to both in the US and Ireland. The vets truly care about the animals that they are caring for, and are so understanding of their customers feelings towards their pets. I would recommend them to anyone. Read Less
