Our family cat recently had surgery at Auburn Veterinary Hospital, Mullingar. He had a very large tooth abscess which required draining and removal of the tooth. The surgery appears to have went well ...
Our family cat recently had surgery at Auburn Veterinary Hospital, Mullingar. He had a very large tooth abscess which required draining and removal of the tooth. The surgery appears to have went well and he's currently settling back into the home. However, there was one little issue. The hair around the cat's cheek required trimming prior to surgery. It appears that whoever was responsible for the task of trimming did not take enough care as some of the cat's whiskers around his nose and eyebrow were needlessly trimmed back in the process. The whiskers were not obstructing surgery. It would have been perfectly possible to have trimmed his hair without harming the whiskers. Whiskers are important to a cat's equilibrium. If they had been a bit more diligent I would have submitted a five star rating. All in all I think we would be inclined to visit again if issues arose (and continue to use this veterinary hospital so as long carelessness does not repeat).
