Took my dog in to get his toenails cut. Usually with other vet practices my dog is in and out in 5 mins. This vet (Mark) took it upon himself to man-handle my small dog, force him down on the table and muzzle him. Pretty extreme behaviour for a simple toenail trim - before even checking to see how the dog was even going to react (he is fine, has had it done many times!). I almost walked out I was so disgusted with the vets power attitude. Luckily we have moved now, so won't ever need to go back. (I would rather drive 20km than put myself and my dog back in that hostile environment).

We first started with Belmont Vets in the 90's with Ginnie pigs, later a bird and now our dog! We really value their service, particularly with our dog who seems to get up to all sort of tricks which require a vet to sort out - sometimes at very short notice. It is also great to be able to take a pet to the vet and for them to recognize the building and staff and be pleased to be there. Also nice to have the undercover carport for patient owners to use!

My complaint is not with the work done on my cat, I had no problems with it. My issue was with the staff. The vet didn't greet me and only spoke when we were leaving. The reception staff seemed vague...
My complaint is not with the work done on my cat, I had no problems with it. My issue was with the staff. The vet didn't greet me and only spoke when we were leaving. The reception staff seemed vague and inattentive. This kind of thing annoys me. I wouldn't go back.

We first started with Belmont Vets in the 90's with Ginnie pigs, later a bird and now our dog! We really value their service, particularly with our dog who seems to get up to all sort of tricks which require a vet to sort out - sometimes at very short notice. It is also great to be able to take a pet to the vet and for them to recognize the building and staff and be pleased to be there. Also nice to have the undercover carport for patient owners to use!

My complaint is not with the work done on my cat, I had no problems with it. My issue was with the staff. The vet didn't greet me and only spoke when we were leaving. The reception staff seemed vague and inattentive. This kind of thing annoys me. I wouldn't go back.
