I walked into TSV with my wee Minnie when she was 6 weeks old. Little did i know i would soon be introduced to the most caring team for me & my sidekick...fast forward 6 years I have since left my job and am now in my final 2 years of Veterinary studies. Minnie is still kickin' it despite her multiple leg surgeries and gastro issues. Although I occasionally blame Megan & the team during long hours of study, I honestly can't believe how inspirational TSV has been for me, so much so that I have been compelled to make a difference in other people's lives through their beloved pets as well. The team at The Strand Vet go above and beyond the call of duty in the care of my two cats. They're both now a bit geriatric (my cats, not the vets), with all the health problems that come with it, so they are frequent flyers! My new puppy had to have her vacations and mircochip. As an Akita can have huge memory of a bad experiences Megan was full of treats for me to give Immy while she did the needle bits. I had the sad task of saying goodbye to my sweet rescued 15yr old shitzu/maltese ' Chanel' this week and I am so grateful I was a Strand Vet client. Megan performed the inevitable with such heart and care that I knew it was my final act of kindness to Chanel. My little girl stayed with me after with the healing candle above her that Megan had left for me.
