I think Ellerslie Veterinary Clinic is the best vet in Auckland! They deeply care about the pets in their care and go out of their way to make both pet and owner comfortable. They take extra precautions during surgery to ensure that the animal is well monitored and have modern equipment. Jana, Kathrin and Della have all gone the extra mile with their communication. I have such trust in them that I continued to make the drive to Ellerslie after I moved to the North Shore. When I moved overseas, the team worked very closely with me through the process of moving my pets with me, which included Jana phoning both me and immigration to discuss their status. I couldn't not give them a higher recommendation!

Of the many vet clinics I have seen over the years, Ellerslie Vets is by far the best, a truly high end clinic. The staff are very proficient and friendly with a wide knowledge base. They cared for our rabbits with great professionalism, I can't recommend these guys enough.

Finding a great vet is as important as a great doctor and finding a rabbit expert is impossible in Auckland and Dr Kathrin is honestly one in a million. She is thorough and makes sure you understand everything that needs to be done and she isn't afraid to explore options and fight just as hard as you do for the quality of life for your furkids.Not only is she a rabbit whisperer ,our dogs and cat love her and are never afraid to go see"Aunty Kathrin "

They are very helpful, professional and are gentle with the pets, with a calm, nourishing environment. They fully explain the procedures of treatments, and make suggestions and tips to make the most of the pet's health. They get the job done as quickly as possible but still doing their best. First time we visited Kathrin and her team was unfortunately to put our cat down. Kathrin was kind and professional/respectful. Although it was a sad experience I am glad I lucked upon a decent veterinary clinic for this visit. It was also nice that the 'consult' hours are limited to two sessions so I didn't have a crowd to sift through afterwards. The pricing seemed fair compared to what I had been estimated by a friend in the industry. I had to laugh when the receptionist who had just charged my card said "Do you want a receipt...yeah probably not..." seems awkward but a bit of a smile from accidental humor is what I needed. Kieran

I could not recommend the services of Ellerslie Vets any more than if I ran it myself. I have been a cat owner for many years in the UK and having recently migrated to New Zealand I was very careful to whom I entrusted the health of my elderly cat. Due to minor illnesses my cat experienced on entering New Zealand, it was important for me to find a vets that I trusted implicitly. Over a period of time, I met both Jess and Katherine, the vets, and have liaised with the nurses and reception staff, who have always been so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Both Jess and Katherine have recently showed their true dedication and their obvious love to the animals they treat, whilst looking after my cat, who became ill and unfortunately, very recently I had to make the impossible decision to have her put to sleep. I could not speak highly enough of the care and attention that Katherine displayed both to my cat and with me, at a very sad time. She is truly an amazing vet, with a huge heart and I will be forever grateful to her for her professionalism and sensitivity to my case. I would recommend her wonderful practice to anyone, knowing that the service you would receive would far outweigh anyway else you would go. Heartfelt thanks.

I could not recommend the services of Ellerslie Vets any more than if I ran it myself. I have been a cat owner for many years in the UK and having recently migrated to New Zealand I was very careful to whom I entrusted the health of my elderly cat. Due to minor illnesses my cat experienced on entering New Zealand, it was important for me to find a vets that I trusted implicitly. Over a period of time, I met both Jess and Katherine, the vets, and have liaised with the nurses and reception staff, who have always been so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Absolutely 100% recommend elerslie vet and cattery to anyone! My cat used to freak with any vets we would take her too. Then we found you guys!!! Kathrin truely made my fur baby feel comfortable and really focused on her needs. I couldn't have asked for a more kind and caring person to be in charge of my cats health. My cat realised the vet trips weren't such a nightmare once she started going here. Thank you guys for everything you do, amazing job!!

We haven't visited the actual practice but can highly recommend Kathrin Brinker. She was our vet for our beloved Molly and worked tirelessly to help give her a better quality of life. She was open to alternative methods and researched online and through colleagues for different treatments. We have unfortunately moved away from the area otherwise we would still be sending our fur babies to Kathrin, at her new practice. She treated our pets as though they were her own and to us that is the most important thing!

I've had cats all my life and never quite been to a vet like Ellerslie Veterinary, such and amazing team! They've looked after both our cats, Sir with his stomach problem and Pablo has been in to remove 2 teeth. The care and after care our cats received were amazing. Follow ups, phone calls, emails all indepth information to do with the care of the cats. The lovely thing is I took Sir in to the vets a month or two ago and everyone asked how pablo was doing :). That personal touch!

If one must say a percentage out of 100, we would say 1000% for Dr Kathrin Brinker and the team at her clinic! Our cat Pusskin (Smooch) was diagnosed with Pancreatitis - the silent killer of cats! - and thanks to the correct diagnosis, medication, treatment and 24 hour care meted out by Dr Kathrin we still have Smooch with us today! Dr Kathrin, Vet Nurse Trenette and Administrator Sasha are all dedicated to the care and attention of any animal that crosses their threshold. Integrity is the glue that holds this practice together. Our cat was turned in to Ellerslie vet clinic and we were made aware of this as soon as they received him. Dr Kathrin took care and healed him from a very serious car accident. He is now home and almost 100% now. She was great and supported us through the very traumatic time. We had regular follow ups to see how Hunter was recovering. She discussed all our options at each stage. She was always so caring with the way she was handling him. I could not thank her enough. I would definitely recommend Ellerslie Vet Clinic. Thank you so much for everything team.

He was treated like royalty as they gave him his vaccinations and microchipped him and then looked after him for the morning for us. Kathrin and her team obviously love all animals and provide a wonderful warm environment for them. What a beautiful place and what an outstanding vet! My neighbour recommended Kathrin from Ellerslie Vet Clinic highly and so I went to them for a second opinion on my sick cat. Kathrin took a lot of time examining my cat and listening to me and my concerns. She explained to me in a very professional way, why she has to repeat an ultrasound and some of the diagnostics despite the fact it had already been done by my previous vet. To make a long story short, she found a liver disease which is now been treated successfully. I cannot recommend Kathrin and her team enough. Thank you very much.

Of the many vet clinics I have seen over the years, Ellerslie Vets is by far the best, a truly high end clinic. The staff are very proficient and friendly with a wide knowledge base. They cared for our rabbits with great professionalism, I can't recommend these guys enough.

They are very helpful, professional and are gentle with the pets, with a calm, nourishing environment. They fully explain the procedures of treatments, and make suggestions and tips to make the most of the pet's health. They get the job done as quickly as possible but still doing their best. Kath is the best vet we've had, we highly recommend her.

First time we visited Kathrin and her team was unfortunately to put our cat down. Kathrin was kind and professional/respectful. Although it was a sad experience I am glad I lucked upon a decent veterinary clinic for this visit. It was also nice that the 'consult' hours are limited to two sessions so I didn't have a crowd to sift through afterwards. The pricing seemed fair compared to what I had been estimated by a friend in the industry. I had to laugh when the receptionist who had just charged my card said "Do you want a receipt...yeah probably not..." seems awkward but a bit of a smile from accidental humor is what I needed. Kieran

I could not recommend the services of Ellerslie Vets any more than if I ran it myself. I have been a cat owner for many years in the UK and having recently migrated to New Zealand I was very careful to whom I entrusted the health of my elderly cat. Due to minor illnesses my cat experienced on entering New Zealand, it was important for me to find a vets that I trusted implicitly. Over a period of time, I met both Jess and Katherine, the vets, and have liaised with the nurses and reception staff, who have always been so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Both Jess and Katherine have recently showed their true dedication and their obvious love to the animals they treat, whilst looking after my cat, who became ill and unfortunately, very recently I had to make the impossible decision to have her put to sleep. I could not speak highly enough of the care and attention that Katherine displayed both to my cat and with me, at a very sad time. She is truly an amazing vet, with a huge heart and I will be forever grateful to her for her professionalism and sensitivity to my case. I would recommend her wonderful practice to anyone, knowing that the service you would receive would far outweigh anyway else you would go. Heartfelt thanks.

I could not recommend the services of Ellerslie Vets any more than if I ran it myself. I have been a cat owner for many years in the UK and having recently migrated to New Zealand I was very careful to whom I entrusted the health of my elderly cat. Due to minor illnesses my cat experienced on entering New Zealand, it was important for me to find a vets that I trusted implicitly. Absolutely 100% recommend elerslie vet and cattery to anyone! My cat used to freak with any vets we would take her too. Then we found you guys!!! Kathrin truely made my fur baby feel comfortable and really focused on her needs. I couldn't have asked for a more kind and caring person to be in charge of my cats health. My cat realised the vet trips weren't such a nightmare once she started going here. Thank you guys for everything you do, amazing job!!

We haven't visited the actual practice but can highly recommend Kathrin Brinker. She was our vet for our beloved Molly and worked tirelessly to help give her a better quality of life. She was open to alternative methods and researched online and through colleagues for different treatments. We have unfortunately moved away from the area otherwise we would still be sending our fur babies to Kathrin, at her new practice. She treated our pets as though they were her own and to us that is the most important thing!

I've had cats all my life and never quite been to a vet like Ellerslie Veterinary, such and amazing team! They've looked after both our cats, Sir with his stomach problem and Pablo has been in to remove 2 teeth. The care and after care our cats received were amazing. Follow ups, phone calls, emails all indepth information to do with the care of the cats. The lovely thing is I took Sir in to the vets a month or two ago and everyone asked how pablo was doing :). That personal touch!

Our cat Pusskin (Smooch) was diagnosed with Pancreatitis - the silent killer of cats! - and thanks to the correct diagnosis, medication, treatment and 24 hour care meted out by Dr Kathrin we still have Smooch with us today! Dr Kathrin, Vet Nurse Trenette and Administrator Sasha are all dedicated to the care and attention of any animal that crosses their threshold. Integrity is the glue that holds this practice together. Our cat was turned in to Ellerslie vet clinic and we were made aware of this as soon as they received him. Dr Kathrin took care and healed him from a very serious car accident. He is now home and almost 100% now. She was great and supported us through the very traumatic time. We had regular follow ups to see how Hunter was recovering. She discussed all our options at each stage. She was always so caring with the way she was handling him. I could not thank her enough. I would definitely recommend Ellerslie Vet Clinic. Thank you so much for everything team.

Ellerslie Veterinary Clinic took fabulous care of our new fur baby Oscar. He was treated like royalty as they gave him his vaccinations and microchipped him and then looked after him for the morning for us. Kathrin and her team obviously love all animals and provide a wonderful warm environment for them. What a beautiful place and what an outstanding vet! My neighbour recommended Kathrin from Ellerslie Vet Clinic highly and so I went to them for a second opinion on my sick cat. Kathrin took a lot of time examining my cat and listening to me and my concerns. She explained to me in a very professional way, why she has to repeat an ultrasound and some of the diagnostics despite the fact it had already been done by my previous vet. To make a long story short, she found a liver disease which is now been treated successfully. I cannot recommend Kathrin and her team enough. Thank you very much.
