One of the worst vet in NZ, they rush into things and not interested in looking after your loved ones. Our dog been with them for over 8 years. It was all good when he never needed any care but as he got all old he needed some level of care which he never got. Last year they did several blood test too find why liver enzymes are high. They kept repeating the tests but could not find the problem. All of a sudden our dog dropped and they told us he is diabetic. They ignored all symptoms and never warned us. After all that we left under their care until today they have not been able to control his sugar levels. Now our dog is developing blindness symptoms which Andrew the vet did not even think to check in last weeks appointment. If you want reactive vet who treats the animal after the problem and ignore symptoms choose them. I will also explore legal routes to complain about them to save others. Read Less

De sexing mishap The experience not only was not only traumatizing for our dog but also unnecessary. We were unaware that she had already been de sexed as she was a stray and no previous owner to inform us of her history. I was told when I picked her up that the vet noticed a scare that would suggest that she has already had the procedure done. The vet continued with the operation even though there was uncertainty about whether the scare which had a strong implication it relating to the operation already occurring. Thus our dog was subjected to an unnecessary procedure, pain and recovery as well as we were charged the full amount even though the vet had knowledge that our dog possibly had already been de sexed. We would of expected some sort of communication before the operation, should the vet have noticed the scared and maybe alternative measures to investigate whether she was de sexed would of be more sufficient. So to avoid any unnecessary pain to your pet go somewhere else. Read Less
