General Info
Here at Carevets, we have a passion for helping people care for their pets. Each branch of the Carevets group is either a Veterinary Clinic or has a Veterinary Clinic onsite owned by the directors of the company, making us unique in New Zealand. Our staff are qualified as pet carers, Veterinary Nurses, groomers and of course, Veterinarians, so you and your pets are in the best of hands when you visit.
We are constantly growing and expanding our stores and clinics, ensuring that we bring you the best products and services at very competitive prices.
Our Mission is to “satisfy and delight our customers each and every time.” With this in mind, no request from our customers is too great for our talented team. If we don’t have a particular product that you are looking for, just ask us and we will do our best to get it for you. Read more about our Mission, Vision and Philosophy here.
The Carevets group has been operating in New Zealand since 2008, under the direction of Drs Keith Houston, Alistair Kirkby and Mr Nick Cooper.
From the time the Carevets group began, we have wanted to do our part in giving back to the community. As a result of this, we have set up the Carevets Foundation, a not for profit Charitable Trust to ensure that pets are cared for no matter what.

CareVets for me and my animals have and still are the best and I have no intention of changing and would recommend CareVets who cares about their family member.

Fixed our two bunnies for us at a very reasonable price. They gave great aftercare advice and even offered to keep them overnight when I was struggling to figure out how to keep them separated while they were recuperating. Also they have a pet cat there, and I saw one of the staff scoop it up, give him a quick kiss and cuddle then carried on working. If you can physically see staff having love for animals then you know your at the right place. Read Less
