Our practice offers a full range of medical, surgical and diagnostic veterinary services for companion animals. Here are some examples of the services that we provide.

Production Animal
We offer a full on farm consultation service which includes the following:

•Obstetrics: Calvings, lambings and unpackings!
•Prescription and dispensing of animal remedies.
•Whole herd and individual vaccinations, including advice on the most appropriate protocols, either for your commercial herd or flock, or your small “lifestyle” menagerie
•Ultrasound pregnancy testing for cattle, deer and alpacas.
•Manual pregnancy testing where ultrasound is unclear or impractical.
•Reproductive advice and programmes for all classes of livestock including in-Calf training
•Mastitis management and consultancy advice for dairy herds
•Diagnostic blood sampling and testing.
•TB testing for deer and alpacas.
•Mineral Trace Element testing: blood testing, liver biopsy or through the meat works
•Facial Eczema spore counting – this is a free service.

Amazing staff that truly care for the animals. We have shopped around in the past but this company was not nearly as interested in our money as they were in getting our pet healthy again, a quality that is very rare in this industry. Even though our cat didnt make it (which was down to us running out of very limited funds), we strongly feel that they had tried everything within their power and what was fesibly possible to make him well again for what little we had and at a price that was ALOT less than any other vet. Customers for life.

Our pet dog suffered a sudden and serious medical issue which was very mysterious. We initially started under the care of the Papamoa clinic before transferring over the the Tauranga clinic for more advanced treatment. Throughout the whole process the vets and nurses were amazing and I can't thank them enough.

Such a lovely vet clinic! My dog had cancer and needed his toe removed and I was a wreck with worry as we didn't no if the cancer had spread and we were just about to leave the country for a month! Ka...
Such a lovely vet clinic! My dog had cancer and needed his toe removed and I was a wreck with worry as we didn't no if the cancer had spread and we were just about to leave the country for a month! Kate and the rest of the team were so supportive and kind to me when I was a blubbing mess, and took such amazing care of my fur baby. They continue to be amazing every time we go in (accident prone puppy) Thanks so much guys. X

I have been to both the Papamoa Village and Cameron Road Veterinary Practices and been pleasantly surprised at both. The staff are friendly and greet one with a warm smile, are helpful, knowledgeable, caring, compassionate and professional even over the 'phone. I always have the distinct impression that the absolute best that could have been done for my pet/s, was done during the visit.

Would highly recommend Tauranga Vets as your choice in a veterinary clinic(s). As a past employee they were outstanding to work for, always wanting to further my knowledge and education and were of great support to me. David and Tony in particular were some of the best colleagues I have ever worked with. The professional and well educated service Tauranga Vets provide is second to none! Very down to earth too which I saw a lot of pet owners respond well to.

We have shopped around in the past but this company was not nearly as interested in our money as they were in getting our pet healthy again, a quality that is very rare in this industry.
