The staff failed to tell us when picking our dog up from day care that he had accidentally splashed disinfect in his eye. By the time we got home he was struggling to keep his eye open and by 8pm couldn’t open it at all and was in so much pain, resulting in a trip to the after hours vet. We were surprised the next day to hear them say that he had splashed the product in his eye. Whilst they apologized profusely and paid the vet bill we were still really disappointed - he is our fur child. He has also picked up the papilloma virus, we don’t take him to dog parks and he runs straight past most dogs in the forest so we feel this is the only place he could have picked it up. The all day stimulation and play is just to much for him, as he had started being naughty. Such a shame we really wanted to love the day care and did initially but we think it’s just gotten to many dogs going now so the staff can’t manage the dogs properly. Read Less

Have been happy with the grooming service. Our Labradoodle has always come out looking great. However our last groom was cancelled by Kuri due to unavailability of the groomer, with only a few days notice, despite having booked a month in advance. We had booked in advance as we were heading overseas, so all of a sudden we had to rush around finding a new groomer on very short notice. No flexibility or willingness to help us find a slot that would work before our leaving date. It's a shame because the grooming service is great, but that's worthless to us if we can't trust we won't have appointments cancelled again with no notice. Read Less

Had my dog groomed successfully at airport a couple of times. The last visit, i went to leeds st branch as my usual was busy. Groomer there is beyond useless! My long hair collie had a few knots in him so instead of trying to brush them out, or cut the knot out, she just shaved the whole patch! In a few places! Read Less

Barney had his first day at Kuri yesterday, unlike other day care centres where he comes home a bit tired, we went for a walk straight after and he was full of beans and into everything. Wow! We as a family love Kuri and everything about it. We have just bought our first family dog, a Golden Retriever. We have been to Kuri for one-on-one sessions, Puppy Training school and just to pop in to buy something for our pet. Every member of the Kuri staff has excellent knowledge, skills and is superbly polite and easy to deal with! Wonderful facility for humans and dogs. I can go to work settled that my pup is well looked after and not stressing alone at home. The advice given is top notch and the service is friendly and accommodating to my needs. Great quality toys too, and Nyah is thriving on the raw diet. KURI is a unique place that offers dogs a place to play and learn in a safe positive environment. Every procedure at Kuri is carried out with your dogs safety being paramount. I have a 9 month old French Bulldog named Jorgie and she just loves Kuri and everything about Kuri. The staff have made sure Jorgie feels safe and confident at Kuri and she has become a happy balanced wee dog. We have engaged their in home training services which have worked wonders at helping Jorgie feel relaxed outside in her back yard. Jorgie has also done a level 1 tracking course and absolutely loves it and nails each track. This activity is both mentally and physically stimulating for Jorgie and she is looking forward to the Level 2 tracking course. We have also recommended Kuri to some of our friends who have had success with their dogs in regards to training. We love sending our dog Kevin to Kuri Daycare. He goes twice a week and loves it. He throws himself out the car door in the morning and collapses on the back seat on the way home in the evenings = so tired! It's great for his social skills, it's much better than being left home alone all day. Highly recommend. We also like that Kuri only takes daycare dogs that are suited to it.
