I was mostly just horrified with how my cat Zelda's desexing process went down. We had her spayed, and when I picked her up, the stitches were literally sticking out just less than an inch. They sent me home without a cone, and within a few hours she started pulling at them. I literally had to refrain myself from asking "who's little brother stitched up my cat?" When they agreed to re-see me, the vet just acted like it was totally fine and normal, and then from his dirty car key chain, used an undissinfected pair of scissors to trim them down. And then they charged me 20$ for those horrible plastic uncomfortable cones. I switched pretty soon after that. Read Less

6 month old puppy having a severe reaction to a bee sting but on the phone I was told they were busy so we would be seen when they could. Her symptoms were her going into anaphylactic shock which I explained on the phone. Rang another vet clinic I had never been to before and they took puppy in straight away and straight in to the vet for injections to help save her. While I did like one of the vets I wont be back to Straven road vets. most receptionists in vet clinics now a days are trained veterinary nurses. So in an emergency like this I would of expected more. Read Less
