Alastair and Elise (and their team)saved my babies life!
They cared for her tenderly for five days and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I as her mom, was reassured and calm and that she was comfortable and healing well. Despite such a long stay and major surgery, the bill was MOST reasonable and I will happily recommend them WITHOUT HESITATION to anyone and everyone who asks if I know of a good vet. After that service they're not just good they're downright FABULOUS!
I don't know where I would be without them.

Alistair and his team are absolutely amazing. From the moment you phone they start performing above all expectations. The support they provide is not just medical. It's obvious that they care deeply about pets as well as owners. The advice and treatments are no-nonsense and nothing is prescribed if not necessary. Fees are kept low so as to be affordable by everyone. We also found that we saved money by buying our dog food from them rather than in chain pet stores (that are supposed to give bigger discounts). Whether you live locally or a bit further away, this is a team that's well worth the trip.

I will be highly recommending Clive Cottage Vet Clinic as an amazing place to take your pets! Ive just completed 3 days work experience towards my training as a vet nurse with the awesome team there and cannot speak well enough of them! They were patient and caring and so open to me being there learning what its all about and allowing me to participate in caring for all the animals in their beautiful clinic. I learnt so much over those three days and had so much fun and am very eager to start my training, thanks to your time and effort Elise, Alistair and Sara. FANTASTIC! Amazing service and care. Just happened that Clive Vets were the after hours vets when our girl became ill. Alistair and Elise were amazing! Rushed her in at 9.30ish pm and they were straight into it. He knew exactly what was wrong and she went straight into life saving surgery. She had a condition call GDV - which is when their stomach twists and distends with gas (torsion) and is life threatening. They involved us all the way and we were with her right up till surgery. Phoned us as soon as she was out of surgery. Love the relaxed atmosphere there too... Nala is very selective about who she likes and the day we picked her up we were all sitting on the floor discussing her post surgery and she was totally calm with Alistair. I can't thank them enough for saving Nala (aka Noodle). They totally understand what our pets mean to us. That they are family!! thank you, thank you, thank you!

Great service and would recommend to anyone with a sick animal. Ali sits on the floor with the dogs at their level so to them it's not so scarey. Ali and Elise are so caring and it's nice to go to a vet and not see a different vet every time. Great personal touch. Tilly came in last week with a urine infection and 7/8 teeth removed. She's a much much happier cat Look forward to trying the thundershirt on her also to see if she settles down.

Clive vets have been a god send to us. Our latest visit was the worst, and me thinking my girl was dying. Well Clive vets came to my rescue did what they had to blood tests, drip etc etc. 12 hrs later...
Clive vets have been a god send to us. Our latest visit was the worst, and me thinking my girl was dying. Well Clive vets came to my rescue did what they had to blood tests, drip etc etc. 12 hrs later our girl was on the mend and came home the next morning running all over the place. We are very fortunate to have a vet here in Clive and only being down the road from us esp with my last 2 rushed in visits. The staff are very caring, polite and go,out of there way to,help in any way they can.

They cared for her tenderly for five days and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I as her mom, was reassured and calm and that she was comfortable and healing well. I will be highly recommending Clive Cottage Vet Clinic as an amazing place to take your pets! Ive just completed 3 days work experience towards my training as a vet nurse with the awesome team there and cannot speak well enough of them! Clive vets have been a god send to us. Our latest visit was the worst, and me thinking my girl was dying. Well Clive vets came to my rescue did what they had to blood tests, drip etc etc. 12 hrs later our girl was on the mend and came home the next morning running all over the place.
