best vet I've ever been to .. had to have my poor little bunny put down .the vets were really sympathetic and understanding . I always recommend carevets to friends and family.

Really really upset. Had my two Westhighland Terriers groomed yesterday. Last groom was great. Not told there was now a new groomer. When I made the appointment they knew exactly how long it was since...
Really really upset. Had my two Westhighland Terriers groomed yesterday. Last groom was great. Not told there was now a new groomer. When I made the appointment they knew exactly how long it was since the boys last groom. Had to wait three weeks for an appointment. No mention there could be extra charges. Charged me for a medium sized dog instead of small, cut one dogs ear bad enough to need to be checked by a vet, totally shaved off the false skirt on one dog and left a long patchy uneven skirt on the other, shaved the middle of their faces and left one with a big fluffy chest. I am gutted! I do admit the boys were overdue a groom and were knotty but the groomer rang me and apologised for the cut ear. No mention about anything else. I said I would come straight away to pick up. She left before I arrived. The groom had to be paid for before they would bring the dogs out. I can see why now. The Manager agreed it was a shit groom but wants me to take them back so they can be tidied up. This is clearly not a well trained and experienced groomer so why would I go back for her have a second hack. This was my regular place of grooming, our vet and supplier of all my dogs dietary needs. i.e. I spend a lot of money there. The manager, vet and assistants stood there while I cancelled my next appointment. No offer of compensation for a very poor groom or refund of the extra I paid because they are small dogs not medium sized. Do I feel like a valued customer. No.

Lovely vets, helpful caring staff, will definitely recommend. Even got a call a few days later to see how my cat was.

Horrid place with horrendous fees. Zero compassion and very judgemental. Hold your pets hostage telling you they must stay for longer than needed when they just simply have a furball! Sucked out all my savings when my cat was fine all along. I now take all my pets elsewhere and refuse to go back. Humiliated my friends in front of customers who have now also changed vets. The animals are better behaved than the staff.

We were very happy with these vets until I had dealings with the vet nurse Carol. She is nasty and very opinionated and needs to learn some customer service skills and to think before she speaks. I made a formal complaint to the office manager only to be told that Carol was having a bad day, and it wasnt taken any further. Not even an apology. Unfortunately I couldnt care less if Carol was having a bad day, she needs to be professional and keep her opinions to herself. I was trying to make a stressful decision about my dog and didnt need Carol making me feel even worse.

Great vets, amazing staff that are full of knowledge and love for animals. I was given very helpful tips from staff for my puppy. Prices are cheaper than other places too.

I would like to sincerely thank Gabe and the team at Care Vets in Napier for the treatment that my dog and I received recently. My dog (Mase) was suffering through arthritis and then Gabe found bone cancer which meant he had to be put to sleep. Although the big fella was going to be sadly missed, we said goodbye to our boy on 21 March 2014.
From my first dealings with Care Vets to the last, Gabe and the rest of the team were empathetic, understanding and always professional. I am still gutted to have lost Mase but am so happy that he was cared for by the great crew at Care Vets in Napier. Where they really do... care I mean.

Really really upset. Had my two Westhighland Terriers groomed yesterday. Last groom was great. Not told there was now a new groomer. We were very happy with these vets until I had dealings with the vet nurse Carol. She is nasty and very opinionated and needs to learn some customer service skills and to think before she speaks.
