For a service that was open over a holiday period and not charge any extra amount was great to see. The place is nice and tidy compared to others I have seen in the past but parking is not that well marked out, it wasnt until after our visit we saw the sign pointing out customer parking around the back. Horrible place that is only interested in taking your money. No one called me to let me know how my dog was doing. He was there for 10hrs before I found out any info about how his procedure went and when I would be able to pick him up. When I get there, they charged me twice as much as I was quoted in the morning when I dropped him off. He had also been left to sit in his own urine and was soaked when I lifted him into the car. And worst of all, no one even cared. No one bothered to explain anything to me or even apologise. What a horrible place. What a horrible place. I was referred here from my normal vet as my dog needed an ultrasound. I brought my dog in at 7.30am (when I was told to) which is fine. When I dropped him off I was told the final bill would be roughly $250—$350 which was also fine. However as the day went on I got no call from these guys to let me know how my poor boy was doing which was dumb because I was very upset dropping him off in the morning. I called at 3pm to which the reception lady said that my dog was still waiting for his ultrasound as they got unexpectedly busy. No call during the day to let me know this information. I was also told that someone would call me to let me know when I could come and collect my dog. An hour and a half after I was told this still no call from you. So I called again and was told yup, he's ready. So 10hrs after I dropped my dog off he had finally had his ultrasound and was ready to come home. I arrived and found my bill to be way more that what I was told it would be and the reception lady couldn't explain why this was. I kept asking and she kept giving me a blank stare and no response. I paid and went to get my dog. As I lifted him into the car my arm got wet. That was because he had been sitting in his own urine at their hospital and his tummy was saturated. I went back inside as asked the same reception lady why my dog was left to sit in his own urine. Again, she gave me a black stare and tried to make excuses. There is no excuse for leaving a dog to sit in there own urine. The vet who talked to me about the results if his ultrasound clearly was trying to move on to someone else and didn't explain the big fancy terms he used. I am beyond angry and horrified at the service from your staff and the treatment of my dog. I understand emergencies happen and you get busy but that is no excuse to leave a dog sitting in his own urine and to treat your customers poorly. Will be writing a formal complaint to you. The vet immediately identified our cat was seriously I'll and although he could do nothing to save him, he clearly advised us on putting an end to his pain and letting him go with dignity. He was wonderful and I have no hesitation in recommending Pet Vet to anyone who loves their pets.Read Less

I have been meaning to get back into this clinic to personally thank the staff for the incredible care they gave my working dog after coming into contact with stinging nettle. The staff were amazing and so caring. I had to take a friends dog in a couple of weeks ago and the same nurse that looked after Blue greeted me with a big smile on her face and introduced herself as Kylee. This was also a delicate yet serious situation and she was calm yet very efficient. The nurses here genuinely care about our pets and I recommend Petvet to everyone. Read Less

All about making money. Needed eye drops for my dog as he gets allergies, he had them prescribed a couple months back but we lost the eye drops so called to get more was told that they were flat out and to call back half hour before closing to check if the vet could have them ready for us. Called back twice was told they were too busy to get them signed off and to call back next morning at 10am they should be done so called back then and was told no will get a vet to call you later on and you will likely need to have an appointment to get more. If we had o know we would have booked an appointment yesterday being messed around. Another incident We went there 4 times with the same issue and it wasn't till the 4th time we actually had an answer. Our dog was making a hacking sound and the first 3 times they said it still kennel cough but the 4th time the vet done a proper examination and said it was defect he will likely live with had this been properly checked he first time would have saved us money. Some vets will treat pet rats poorly, like they are replaceable objects, but not this clinic. My little furbabies are treated with the same respect a cat or dog may get :) and the staff are knowledgeable about rats. I had one rat get surgery on his abscess, and another got medicine for his respiratory infection. Both times I was reassured they were in good hands! Really impressed with the lovely vet (Racheal) that saw our cat Jack a few days ago. He is such a nervous cat, as a result of mistreatment before he found us. He is literally scared of everyone apart from my husband and I... and now his vet. She was just so lovely to him and made the trip so much less traumatic than we thought it was going to be. Bought my dog in with a broken leg and knowing it needed the treatment nothing could be done without money payment first.no money no treatment and our only option was to put her down but still needed to pay for her to get pain relief before putting her down. Even $400 for a X-ray. I don't ever member paying 400 at the hospital for a X-ray for my own leg. There were no options given to us to help with payments. Was told 1200 wasn't even enough to cover a deposit. I found that disgusting. They said they loved her yet they didn't even know her and that was all of 30minutes and there just was no sympathy at all. We had no choice to put her down because they said if we kept her alive it be cruel. It's cruel when money rules over a life. I wish there was a better solution to these vets To help with payments, we lost a loyal friend over a broken leg and money.a life was taken over money. My kids lost a best friend over money. This is cruel to those who don't have that sort of money on the spot. I only hope one day their life is taken over money. Call me cruel but that's how it feels. Read Less

Horrible, all about money, nasty owner I was a loyal customer of pet vets for over 10 years My dog had a patella issue that ended up 3 operations later worse than when she went in. The owner was not concerned about my dog at all. He was only worried about the thousands owed for 3 ops that didnt change a thing!!!! I would have paid any amount to have my dogs leg fixed but sadly I feel its all been a waste of time and a lot of pain and discomfort for my little dog. PLEASE get a second opinion before any operation they may suggest. Read Less

I have taken my rabbits here a few times. The first time they had a wonderful vet from England who was very experienced about rabbits and did a great job. The last two visits were very disappointing, as both times my rabbits were diagnosed incorrectly. This has cost me so much time, money and stress! Really disappointed, had a cat that broke her foot and needed a bandage, when I went to pick her up the bandage was round the wrong way s she could licked it off within 2 days, then next time was hanging off her paw when I went to pick her up the next time so needed to be out under again to fix it, vet seemed unable to do it so gave up and placed her in a cage for 9 weeks instead. really disappointing!! go with caution Read Less
