Pet & Vet is located in the heart of the vibrant North Shore town of Milford, NZ. Our team of 4 vets & 7 vet nurses can offer consultations to diagnostics to surgery & are ably supported by our boarding cattery team & dog groomers. We have a huge retail area including a large selection of raw food for cats and dogs. Our boarding cattery offers light & airy accommodation for you furry friends & are cared for by a dedicated cattery team throughout their stay.We are lucky to have the services of a very experienced dog trainer who looks after our puppy pre school classes which run on Wednesdays with each course lasting 4 weeks.
Last but not least, our experienced dog groomers are on hand to do everything from a nail trim to full grooms.

Thank you for treating my cat. I felt nervous because my cat had not eaten anything for two days, so I thought she might have serious problems, but the staff were so welcoming I was immediately calmed. It really struck me how very professional you are, genuinely caring. I am very relieved to know I have at last found a vet practice that I am very happy with, thank you all.

This is how you would expect your local vet practice to be. The place looks fantastic right from the first look as you enter, it's well stocked with great quality products, well informed staff. Nurses show great caring and empathy towards both pet and owners. the Vet's themselves seem extremely proficient, I'm so glad to have found Pet & Vet. We can rest assured that our 3 cats will have access to the best whenever required.

I have been coming to Pet N Vet for a long time with my cats Shelly and toot. Shelly had lots of health issues and the team were always so kind and knowledgeable - they always wanted to help shell and make her better. I felt like I could talk to the team about anything. When it was time to put my darling shelly to rest, the team was so kind and caring. At such a hard time you need a vet's where you feel comfortable and the team made this is easy as possible for me- allowing me to have extra time with my girl. That meant to such to me ❤ I would recommend this vet to anyone

Pet & Vet have been our family animal doctors for years. They've helped out with births, deaths and everything in between. I remember being super appreciative when one of their vets made a home call to put down our beloved 16 yr old black labby, Molly. Or, on a lighter note, when I took our Scottish Terrier cross, Lulu in for a clip and they didn't even bat an eyelid when she pooped on the floor. I was mortified. As well as having wonderful vets, Pet & Vet also have a good range of food including raw options for cats and dogs. There's toys, carry cages, leads etc as well. They even have a cattery for when you go on Holiday. Just make sure your cats vaccinations are up to date at least two weeks before you leave.

Pet and Vet Milford gave my Chinchilla Persian the best groom she has ever received and she came back from the vet so happy, literally went from a nervous cat to sitting in the middle of the lounge purring and dribbling slightly (this may have been the sedatives!). Days later she is still in a great mood with none of that haunted embarrassed behaviour that she usually gets after a full spring shave. The groom itself was impeccable and precise, I loved what they did with the top of her tail, a perfect point. Highly recommend to anyone needing their cat groomed.

My very poorly cat received excellent care and attention from all the vets and nurses at Pet & Vet in Milfrod. The staff on reception were extremely helpful when I first rang up and on arrival (I was a new client that had just moved to this area). The shop is also very impressive, not at all what I was expecting. The cattery looks amazing and 'Benson' will definitely be holidaying there in the future! I thoroughly recommend this practice. They were great.

I felt nervous because my cat had not eaten anything for two days, so I thought she might have serious problems, but the staff were so welcoming I was immediately calmed. It really struck me how very professional you are, genuinely caring. I am very relieved to know I have at last found a vet practice that I am very happy with, thank you all.

The staff on reception were extremely helpful when I first rang up and on arrival (I was a new client that had just moved to this area). The shop is also very impressive, not at all what I was expecting. The cattery looks amazing and 'Benson' will definitely be holidaying there in the future! I thoroughly recommend this practice.
