First established in 1951 to service dairy farms within New Plymouth regions, we have grown to become the largest practice in New Plymouth. We are the first clinic in Taranaki to be awarded the status of BESTPRACTICE Accredited Veterinary Clinic by the NZ Veterinary Association.
Operating as a large and small animal clinic, our team of highly skills and dedicated staff endeavor to provide unrivaled and compassionate veterinary care that considers the personal needs of both animal and owner.

We take both our dogs to NP Vet Group and have been really impressed with the service. Reception and veterinary staff are both exceptionally friendly and helpful. The team genuinely care about animals and go out of their way to help out. They are also very patient with paranoid owners! The clinics pricing is very reasonable as well. We always recommend the clinic to friends and family and will absolutely continue to take our dogs there for treatment.

I can't thank Robert O'Connor enough for the attention and care he gave to our special girl Delta in her final weeks. He acted with sincerity and compassion for our girl, I totally had the utmost confidence in his advice and care. When the time came he was there to help us through. I would also like to thank Stacey our vet nurse as well, she always made our visits special by being so welcoming and accommodating upon our arrival, Stacey was also there for Deltas final journey, I couldn't of wished for a better team from NP Vet Group for my beautiful girl. I have always had good service from the NP Vet group over the many years I have had cats. Whenever something has gone wrong I have been able to get my cat in even if it means taking them down and leaving them until they can be seen, depending on the issue. The staff are all absolutely wonderful.

I have always had good service from the NP Vet group over the many years I have had cats. Whenever something has gone wrong I have been able to get my cat in even if it means taking them down and leaving them until they can be seen, depending on the issue. The staff are all absolutely wonderful.
