Having to trust ANYONE with the care and survival of my babies is an incredibly hard thing to do, but I quickly learnt that they are in completely safe hands, and that the animals welfare is their number one concern. We are very fortunate to have met Heidi and the team when we did.
We feel the Dog’s interests are always put before anything else, with great advice and less harsh natural remedies when appropriate. We have had many successes within our breeding program which simply wouldn’t have been possible without the huge knowledge base accompanied by the speedy and professional actions of the whole team at Vetcare, whether it be life saving treatment of seasonal mushroom toxicity or seamless Sunday Orthopaedic engineering through to after hours Obstetrician and Midwifery services, the team will always go the extra mile to make sure we’ve understood the situation and the best options.
This really is the one stop shop for a service genuinely from the heart. No one likes having an animal at the vets (pet or working) but we always know our guys are in great hands if we need to leave them behind for extra care and attention.
We’ve tried a few, but we’ve found the best now and couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.
Thanks again Vetcare, see you again soon!!!

Heidi has always provided outstanding care to all my animals. Recently she diagnosed my 13 year old cat with hyperthyroidism and removed both his thyroid glands along with the tumors growing inside them. Surgery was a scary thought especially with Charlie being elderly but Heidi carried it out without complication and he made a full recovery and was given a new lease of life. I've witnessed a dramatic change in him for the better both physically and behaviorally.

Dr Heidi has performed two surgeries for dogs I have owned. Around 12 years ago I had a puppy that broke her leg, at the elbow. She recovered so well and had a long happy life after Heidi opperated on her. The second dog is Zara our french mastiff. She was a in bad way when we booked in for the surgery recently and she is a big dog so moving about had become difficult. Post surgery she has a new lease on life, she is so much happier. I would like to thank Heidi so much for all her support to our family both human & animal. Sadly we had to put our Pacey Dog to sleep. Heidi has become over the years a HUGE part of our family when it comes to our animal babies. Heidi shows empathy to all our babies and supports us 100% percent in our personal decisions that we have to sometimes make when our babies lives are put into her hands. I'm thankful for the friendship & bond we have Heidi as this makes the process a little easier sometimes knowing that you have out needs close to your heart xox

If you love your pet and he/she is part of the family, then VetCare is the place to take him/her when she's poorly, or for an annual checkup. Heidi and her team care as much as you do about your beloved animal(s) specializing, as they do, in the care of pet animals. Other veterinary practices in town have a focus on the farming community and in my experience the care of pet animals comes a poor second, but not at VetCare, I have had nothing but outstanding service from the entire team. I would unhesitatingly recommend VetCare over any of the other veterinary practices in Masterton.

Recently she diagnosed my 13 year old cat with hyperthyroidism and removed both his thyroid glands along with the tumors growing inside them. Heidi and her team care as much as you do about your beloved animal(s) specializing, as they do, in the care of pet animals. Other veterinary practices in town have a focus on the farming community and in my experience the care of pet animals comes a poor second, but not at VetCare, I have had nothing but outstanding service from the entire team. I would unhesitatingly recommend VetCare over any of the other veterinary practices in Masterton.
