Our team here at Whangaparaoa Vet Centre have a genuine passion for the work we do. We can't think of a better job than working with pets and seeing the pleasure that they bring to our clients. We understand the bond that develops with our cherished pets and greatly appreciate the trust our clients place with us.
We have developed a great team of like minded people here at the Clinic with a wide range of skills and expertise to share with our clients. Our Veterinary Nurses are all fully qualified and our caring Veterinarians are committed to keeping up with all the latest developments in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery.
We have a modern, spacious purpose built Veterinary Practice with features such as a separate imaging room, pharmacy and sterile surgical suite. Our facility also has a light and spacious boarding cattery. You are welcome to ask to have a tour of the Clinic.
Of recent times we have made a range of renovations and modernisations and also added some of the latest Veterinary equipment. Our passion for the clinic and our work here means we will continue, with your support, to improve the range of services that can be provided to our clients and their furry companions on the Peninsula.

I've been coming to this vet since I first moved to the coast, and they are absolutely brilliant! They were so kind when my cat of 14 years passed. They do a really thorough job and from what I used to get charged, it's much cheaper and I get more out of it. They are such kind people too. I'll continue coming back here.

We were told they would be open and also checking online it said that they would be open today however "holiday hours may apply", only to find out that they've decided to stay closed another day. That's not the way to do business, define when you will be open and closed and dont say that you will be open with variable times then stay closed. However when they are open they do provide great service and handle the pets greatly

GREAT place to take the animal members of your family. They genuinely care for the creatures they treat and go above and beyond to help. The place was recently-ish updated and is really comfortable now. I can not sing their praises highly enough, they are fantastic, and wonderful. The staff - across the board - are helpful, caring, and are real 'animal people'. They try really hard to remember the animals that visit and their owners. This is the only place I will take my pets (except in emergency after hours, as their not open, try Orewa or Silverdale vet hospital which I've also heard good things about). Oh, and if you have a puppy they offer SUPERB puppy classes, which I can not recommend highly enough. Put simply: the best place to take your pets.

I've been coming to this vet since I first moved to the coast, and they are absolutely brilliant! They were so kind when my cat of 14 years passed. That's not the way to do business, define when you will be open and closed and dont say that you will be open with variable times then stay closed. However when they are open they do provide great service and handle the pets greatly
