General Info
Dr Schmidt & Dr Kilian are our resident Veterinary Surgeons, taking care of both canine and feline patients; reptiles, rodents as well as any other exotics, including birds.
Ultrasound, endoscopy, ECG, chemotherapy and dental work are but a few of our areas of interest; including soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery in our in-house theatre. We have an x-ray unit, an in-house laboratory and a dispensary on site. Referral to a Specialist is available if necessary.
Our Veterinary Nurse, Sr. Zoe, provides Puppy Socializing classes for your new pup; as well as running a Weight-Loss programme for those canine or feline tubby’s who need to shed a few extra kilos.
Should you require advice on any products, food or other animal related queries, our Dr’s, Nurse and front-office Health Care Team will be happy to assist.
Should your pet be staying with us overnight, or even just for a few hours, rest assured, they will be in the good hands of our Kennel Care Team.

If you're no longer their client, they will not help you. They diagnosed my dog with diabetes insipidus and she needs some kind of medication/drop that must be dropped in her eye every day. If she doesn't take it, her kidneys will shut down and she could probably die. Now those drops have been discontinued. I then asked Bedfordview Vet to please advise me what else could she take because they were the ones who told me what she had. I called 3 times on 3 separate occasions and they didn't get back to me. The 3rd time I called, the receptionist, very bluntly told me, "doctor will get to you when he can". How disgusting!!!!! This is a matter of life and death and he'll get to me when he can?!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will NEVER recommend them every again!!!!!

I took my sausage dog called Chocolate to see Dr Killian on 26 th of December and again on 27 December as he was not eating and was dehydrated. Both times he was given an injection for a stomach virus...
I took my sausage dog called Chocolate to see Dr Killian on 26 th of December and again on 27 December as he was not eating and was dehydrated. Both times he was given an injection for a stomach virus. NO other tests done! Yesterday hr was in a bad way. Took him to North Rand animal hospital. Lady vet took one look at him and was surprised he was not tested for cat flue! He tested positive and has been admitted. At this stage his survival hangs in the balance! Why did Dr Killian not do any tests whatsoever? NOT impressed!

Thank you for taking in a stray X Amstaff/Pitbull type today, which we found at Goldfields while we were busy with a Show. She was in a poor condition and was very scared, with no collar or microchip....

If you're no longer their client, they will not help you. They diagnosed my dog with diabetes insipidus and she needs some kind of medication/drop that must be dropped in her eye every day. If she doesn't take it, her kidneys will shut down and she could probably die. Now those drops have been discontinued. I then asked Bedfordview Vet to please advise me what else could she take because they were the ones who told me what she had. I called 3 times on 3 separate occasions and they didn't get back to me.
