Absolutely disgusted by the cold, uncompassionate and tactless receptionists of BVH. Upon paying the deposit for my dachshund’s surgery and my vet was preoccupied, I asked them if it would be possible...
Absolutely disgusted by the cold, uncompassionate and tactless receptionists of BVH. Upon paying the deposit for my dachshund’s surgery and my vet was preoccupied, I asked them if it would be possible to see my little dog before her surgery due to the uncertainty of it’s success. I was met with the cold words of “phone tomorrow” amongst many irritated looks . The one also embarrassed my mother with her tactless speech whilst she desperately tried to gather the 10K deposit prior to the surgery. During a very difficult time of my life having lost my grandmother and my husband’s hand having to be amputated, the discovery that my precious dachshund would need spinal surgery shook me to the core, and then to be treated with such coldness and with such uncompassionate words by these two receptionists, has gravely changed my views of BVH. The staff and veterinarians are all fantastic, but those two made what should have been a reassuring experience, one of the worst I have yet experienced at a vet. PLEASE GET NEW RECEPTIONISTS. These two truly did not display the professional & ethical behavior that I’ve known is resonant at BVH for years.

Picked up a grey loerie in the street in Peter Place and I could see he had a sore foot and wing. Drove him to Bryanston Veterinary Clinic and transferred him to a bird box. The lovely young lady in the front took my details and said they would check out the bird and see how they could help. Sadly the big guy had a shattered hip and had to be put to sleep :( but the clinic phoned me to let me know. They didn't ask for anything to help the bird and I am so chuffed I have found a bird specialist and at that, specialists who care about the critters they treat.

Love this Vet! With friendly, dedicated and professional Staff, all of our visits there have been comforting and helpful ~ our very sick, tiny baby recovered beautifully!

The queuing system needs work. The receptionist has 1 job and she couldn't even do that well.
As for the vet. The best ever. Very knowledgeable and I will give him 5 stars.

Excellent care and friendly staff. They are rat friendly, and their hours are helpful with busy, working professionals.

Upon paying the deposit for my dachshund’s surgery and my vet was preoccupied, I asked them if it would be possible to see my little dog before her surgery due to the uncertainty of it’s success. Picked up a grey loerie in the street in Peter Place and I could see he had a sore foot and wing. Drove him to Bryanston Veterinary Clinic and transferred him to a bird box. The lovely young lady in the front took my details and said they would check out the bird and see how they could help. Sadly the big guy had a shattered hip and had to be put to sleep :( but the clinic phoned me to let me know. They didn't ask for anything to help the bird and I am so chuffed I have found a bird specialist and at that, specialists who care about the critters they treat.
