Bakenkop Animal Clinic is the only veterinary clinic I'd take my pets to and refer people to. They are an absolutely wonderful team of people. We recently took my Pekingese, Buddha, there who has back problems, the amazing vet Suzie, assisted and Buddha is perfectly fine now. At the moment my other Peke is pregnant and all the staff have been absolutely wonderful, special thanks to Dr Tarryn who has Boo's best interests at heart. I definitely recommend Bakenkop to anybody who has pets

I recently brought my 2 yorkie boys to be neutered. You can see that all the staff are truly passionate about dealing with animals. I was extremely nervous about taking them for surgery, but felt at ease when I saw how well they were being taken care of. I live right next to a vet, and I will rather take the drive to Bakenkop as I know my boys are being treated with love and kindness. I was updated continuously on their progress, they even got get well soon cards and aftercare food! Wow! I would highly recommend Bakenkop.

1st issue: Billing. Check your bills, they advertise they consult teeth cleaning for free, got home after dogs cleaning and noticed R400 consultation fee. All she did was lift his lip and gave rough quote, called and query and was told sorry they will refund it!!! Don't bill for stuff you shouldn't!!! Bit of a bad habit!!! 2nd issue:Emergency number. Really need to brush up on your feedback! I lodge a complaint where your emergency number does not get answered, got a sms they busy I must call later, send sms to ask when as its a emergency never got a reply! Reported this and to date no feedback, its not the first or second time your so called emergency is not attended to! Don't advertise things if you don't really support that after hour feature!!! Still waiting for a answer over a month now, really pathetic!!!

At the moment my other Peke is pregnant and all the staff have been absolutely wonderful, special thanks to Dr Tarryn who has Boo's best interests at heart. I recently brought my 2 yorkie boys to be neutered. You can see that all the staff are truly passionate about dealing with animals. I was extremely nervous about taking them for surgery, but felt at ease when I saw how well they were being taken care of. I live right next to a vet, and I will rather take the drive to Bakenkop as I know my boys are being treated with love and kindness. I was updated continuously on their progress, they even got get well soon cards and aftercare food! Wow! I would highly recommend Bakenkop.

1st issue: Billing. Check your bills, they advertise they consult teeth cleaning for free, got home after dogs cleaning and noticed R400 consultation fee. All she did was lift his lip and gave rough quote, called and query and was told sorry they will refund it!!! Don't bill for stuff you shouldn't!!! Bit of a bad habit!!! 2nd issue:Emergency number. Really need to brush up on your feedback! I lodge a complaint where your emergency number does not get answered, got a sms they busy I must call later, send sms to ask when as its a emergency never got a reply! Reported this and to date no feedback, its not the first or second time your so called emergency is not attended to! Don't advertise things if you don't really support that after hour feature!!! Still waiting for a answer over a month now, really pathetic!!!
