My son and I have become voluntary dog walkers, we spent most of the time in the cat kennels playing with the kittens!!
Friendly staff and well maintained.

Good evening, i stay in a complex in elarduspark, yesterday my cat was poisoned by someone in my complex, she suffered alot n had to be put down this morning. My care taker refuses to provide any info on the person or persons who has been having issues with the pets in the complex. And what disturbs me most is that this was not the first time. I have the the proof of what poisoned her and a doctors report but i dont know what to do from here but i feel that i cant just leave the situation as no animal deserves to die like this and i feel that this will not be the last time. Please please help me get some justice for my baby.

Hello I found a stray in my yard tonight seems to have been a cross breed golden brown in color a beautiful male with blue eyes the poor dog still seems to be a puppy he had a wound on his ear and damage to his one eye we called the centurion spca to ask if they could fetch him the lady said she would try to send someone as it's after hours and it's difficult but she would try which was understandable so we made a plan and we drove him down the guys there were so friendly and helpful ...I would also like to know how I can find out about the dog and if his okay and what might happen to him he seemed to be very dazed and dizzy I don't know if he hurt his head or something I just get so angry when people get pets and then don't take care of them

This morning my boyfriend phoned to seek help as I almost ran over a dog at the corner of Brakfontein and Voortrekker, which is an extremely intersection in the mornings. He spoke to Andre who said that it's not the SPCA's job to assist with stray dogs and that they only attend to abused animals...well Andre, if that dog is dead at the end of the day will it count as abuse then? Even if you really couldn't assist, why couldn't you refer us to someone that can help? Surely you get similar phone calls all the time? Strange enough SPCA Benoni assisted us in a situation like this before.

My dogs escaped from my house. A kind lady picked them up and dropped them off at centurion branch spca. I got hold of her, and her and I went to collect the dogs from the spca. They close at 12. I went at 13:00. I have been told I may only fetch my dogs on Monday morning. It is Saturday. It does not make sense, spca will not try make a plan and release my dogs to me. I understand it is after hours, but surely they can help. The dogs are taking up space unnecessarily and eating the food there unnecessarily. Where they could be home, In a warm bed. We phoned the after hours number, but the man said we will not see our dogs until Monday. I am grateful for spca, but at the same time, these are my animals.
