Firstly I am very happy with the service received from the vets and staff. Everyone is always super friendly and take great care with my boy. Always ready to give advise and really is a pleasure to come here. I am however very disappointed in the accounts department. I was unable to make 3 payments on my account, about which I tried to contact Tracy several times. I was always advised that she is busy, and she never returned any of my calls. Emails are sparcely responded to as well. I had issues with my debit order which were eventually resolved after the 4th payment did not go off as scheduled. Now I share the same initials and surname as my mother on law, and there was a mix up on her account, to which she and her husband had queries on trying to resolve. Then yesterday, I get an EXTREMELY rude call from Tracy threatening to hand me over, telling me that my entire account (which is only due at the end of May as per the puppy plan agreed to) is due by the end of February, or they will hand me over. I attempted several times to have an actual conversation with her, upon which she told me directly that she has no interest in speaking to "us people" (refering to myself and my mother-in-law and her husband) because we are defensive, and if I would like to call her boss, he is standing right next to her listening to the conversation. I attempted again to speak to her in a decent and amicable way, upon which she HUNG UP on me! I find this TOTALLY unacceptable behaviour from a professional business, regardless of the situation, as she would not allow me to even speak to her regarding the situation. I requested a recon on my account as she advised that more payments that what I had missed was not recorded, even though I have the statements and invoices proving the amounts paid, and I sent through an email after the call requesting this again, which, until now has still not been answered. I request that someone please return my email so that this matter can be resolved as soon as possible.Read Less

Most unhelpful, unwilling, unsympathetic, money hungry vets. I was faced with the traumatizing event of my fur baby passing away. I didn't know what to do as it was so unexpected and I was devastated. Upon arrival, the guy at reception was very helpful and assisted me. The vet on the other hand, had no sympathy, no empathy no compassion, and kept on referring to my dog as "it". After paying a fortune for cremation and postmortem, I have not received any feedback. On a daily basis I have called them only to be told that the vet is not there and he will get back to me, that has never happened. I had to call IDEXX myself to find out if the have received my dog and whether or not the postmortem has happened. They were even kind enough to inform me that she was sent to Legacy pet for cremation. I myself then called Legacy cremation and they informed me that she was indeed cremated and that her remains would be by Florida Veterinary Hospital the Friday. Saturday again I had to call them to find out if they have received the remains, which was then confirmed that it was there. I requested her remains to be delivered in a silver urn, which wasn't done. The remains was received in a wooden box. Now 2 weeks later I'm still waiting for the postmortem results and still I get the same "unbothered" answer. The vet will call me back. I will never go back to this clinic nor will I even recommend this clinic to anyone I know after the horrible experience I've had. Read Less

My dogs have been going to florida vet since they where little pups. The service is always friendly and the doctors are excellent! They even helped me 23:00 o'clock at night with a emergency.... Well done keep up the good work. Read Less

A BIG thank you to Dr Muller, Dr Ryan and the team at Florida Vet for taking such good care of our baby, Kylie. Dr Muller was so patient with me and so kind to our little angel. She is back home, and back to being the busy, healthy baby she was thanks to the team at Florida Veterinary Hospital. We live in Fourways and drove all the way to Florida following the excellent reviews of this Veterinary Hospital and it was SOOOOO worth it!! To Dr Jasper Muller and Staff (after Hours and Emergencies) First of all, THANK YOU for understanding that our "dogs" is not just a "dog or pets" to us, they are our children, and when we had to bring in our little boy last night, you and your wonderful staff understood that, you not only kept us up to date with what treatment our beautiful and presiouse boy was receiving every step of the way, we knew our little boy was in the best hand possible, and your wonderful receptionist offered a rather "on the edge, pacing up and down, crying mother" a glass of water and much needed words of comfort. After Dr Jasper Muller brough our boy back to us, he took the time to answer all our questions and give us advice, in order to put our minds and hearts to rest. Two hours after our visit, our boy was eating, and playing with his sister, as I am typing this, I am looking at my boy, and I am overwhelmed if I think of what might have been, if not for the quick acctions taken by Jasper and the amazingly wonderful staff. There is nothing more beautiful in life than having the sound of your children's laughter "barks" in your ears, and an unlimited supply of the best kisses in the world, and having the honour of seeing the love in their eyes and knowing it's unconditional. I am very grateful for the special care that was taken with my two senior dogs during their grooming session today. I was a bit concerned because they both suffer from arthritis, hip/ back problems. Last night my husband and I had to rush our pitbull/staffie cross puppy to your hospital to be treated for what we thought was parvo. We were assisted by the friendly and lovely Ryan and his colleague who's name I have totally forgotten right now. Dr Muller seen to us promptly and I commend his manner, he gave BOTH my puppies a thorough examination and did parvo tests, thankfully it wasn't or isn't parvo and he even gave us food (which the little naughties loved) and according to my husband this morning they are both fine and dandy. Thank you to Dr Muller and the night staff. You guys are exceptional and your love for animals is truly heart warming and after seeing you interact with our fur babies the way you did, restored my faith in humanity's help for those who cannot speak for themselves.
