May Zeus and his lightning fetch you from your place of privilege if you gave this place anything less than 5 stars. It's a not-for-profit animal hospital in Soweto with only 1 vet at a time onsite(most of whom volunteer their services). Who tends to about 10 animals an hour on a shoestring budget and you have the gall to not be grateful. Woo shem nisile yazi!!! The consultation costs R50. And it's been like this for forever. Bar inflation, bar funding cuts from the National lottery board and all other wickedness but the price has stayed fixed so that even those with not much are still able to have access to a vet. You say the queues are long?!?! Can we be reasonable here people. At R50 per consultation what are you expecting? The longest I've ever had to wait is 45 to 50 minutes and the admin staff try their utmost best to manage the queue. Personally, I've always found the staff to be helpful. They simply don't have time for chit chat but they're always willing to help. Prices: Consultation : R50 Vaccination : depending on the type of vaccine. From R100 to R150 Sterilization: Prices vary but for small dogs, no more than R400. Donations are always welcome. Read Less
