Very unethical! In my opinion abuse the love a person has for their animals.
A Neurologist charges R199 to insert an IV and set it up. These vets bill R150 to insert an IV, then for the syringe and medication, which is excessive but then on top of that you get billed R108.70 (twice) to inject into the IV. Agreed once I left that bloods would be taken and we would take it from there, only to get billed for x-rays which I clearly stated we would wait until the results came back from the blood. Almost R5200 for 24 hours. Asked for a discount as I felt these charges we absorbent and unethical but it was just ignored.
Every estimate I was given was doubled! Be very aware!!!!!

There are no words to describe how grateful I am to the very professional and dedicated Veterinary Team Dr Meyer, Dr Barnard and Dr Jay for giving my little fur baby Maddie a second chance at life.
Their Reception Staff Christine, Shiree and Nicky for their patience, kindness and compassion shown when I couldn't even think straight. What a HUGE relief for us that they managed to pull Maddie through, thanks to their wonderful team work.
Their compassionate Nursing and Kennel Staff, including their superb Groom-A-Pet Staff - Maria and her Team who have always gone above and beyond for both my furry children Chevy and Maddie.
I highly recommend the Honeydew-Vet-A-Pet Clinic and Groom-A-Pet Parlour to anyone who is passionate about the care and wellbeing of their pets. Their commitment and dedication towards you the Mommy and your fur baby is incredible.

I took my two small dogs to the Groom-a-pet and it was absolutely wonderful. The staff is very very gentle and caring and you can see that they are animal lovers. They even went out of their way to put a little ribbon in my dogs hair to make her look SUPER cute. I would recommend them to anyone as I take my dogs regularly and they have always come back happy.

Dr Meyer and the HAC staff were absolutely incredible when our little cocker spaniel got severely injured and had to undergo an emergency op. They were not only incredibly professional and skilled but they were so kind and caring in all the trauma we endured. I cannot recommend this practice enough. They go above and beyond!! Outstanding service!
