Who We Are
vet dog 01Rynfield Veterinary Hospital has been established for 40 years and has full hospital status. We treat domestic pets, including reptiles and birds.
Strategy & Vision
We strive to administer the best possible veterinary service within the ambit of our expertise and client affordability. To do this we provide a consulting service according to the consulting service from 8am-6pm (Weekdays); 8am-1pm and 5-6pm on Saturdays and an emergency window from 5-6pm on Sundays. We also provide an after hour emergency service for our bona-fide clients.
We endeavor to not keep our clients waiting. We adhere to the S.A.V.A credo:
•To honour our profession and its code of ethics;
•To maintain and uphold high professional and scientific standards;
•To use our professional skills, knowledge and resources to protect and promote the health and welfare of animals and humans;
•To further the status and image of the veterinarian and to foster and enrich veterinary science;
•To promote the interests of our association and fellowship amongst its members.

UPDATE: All the glory to God who had His hand over my silly puppy when he crossed the busy Atlas Rd and Elizabeth Rd crossings yesterday. Anakin found a wonderful dog-lover couple in Impala Park who took him in and made sure that EVERY SPCA knew about him... A massive thanks to Germiston SPCA, Benoni SPCA, Mercury Street Vet and Rynfield Vet who kept the couple up to speed regarding reports on my boy... I’m beyond thankful to have my boy back Thanks to everyone who shared his Missing Dog post, I am very grateful

Dr. Jesse saved my dog's life more than once. For 20 years we have been going to him and he has never lets us down. Always willing to help and always willing to listen. Liz is such a pleasure to deal with. She also goes out of her way to help. When we moved to Atlanta last year both Dr. Jesse and Liz helped make the process easier. I will always have a very special place in my heart for the doctors and staff at Rynfield Veterinary Hospital.

Not a veterinarian if you want your animal to come out well or alive!! I lost my loving dog who was only 4 year old, due to negligence. When I confronted Dr, the impression was that it was more my fault without giving me time to speak. The worts is, that Dr Coleman had no problem swearing infront of my daughters (12 and 8 years), and badmouthing the other Vet who was trying to save my dog. To them its all about money, I had to pay R1500 before they would admit my dog. And still had to pay in.

Dr Coleman performed an intricate micro surgery on one of my rescued kittens on Monday night. 6 weeks old now, this tiny boy needed a Pereneal Urethostomy....was referred to a specialist vet in Jhb. W...
Dr Coleman performed an intricate micro surgery on one of my rescued kittens on Monday night. 6 weeks old now, this tiny boy needed a Pereneal Urethostomy....was referred to a specialist vet in Jhb. When i took Stitch in for his castration etc.....i mentioned to Dr Coleman about my kitten. Went back home, collected the kitten and he operated on him that night. Several vets had told me that there aren't any specialist vets in Benoni. Clearly there are ! This kitten was one of 4 tiny 2-3 weeks old that were abandoned in a garage in Crystal Park. I collected them and began bottle feeding. These 4 babies are so precious and undoubtedly Dr Coleman saved this baby ! Well done Rynfield Veterinary Hospital !

When I confronted Dr, the impression was that it was more my fault without giving me time to speak.
