My puppy of 11 weeks got terribly ill on Friday , and so we brought him into the Lonehill Veterinary Clinic to be examined on Saturday. The vet who assisted us reassured us that it was just some tummy bug picked up while playing in the garden, and gave us some medication to help him get better. On Sunday my puppy seemed to have gotten worse and had terrible diarrhea and vomiting and had lost a considerable amount of weight and had absolutely no energy, and so we brought him in again to be examined and this time he took a sample of his stool, checked his glucose levels and check his gums and just diagnosed him with being very dehydrated and prescribed us with electrolytes and stool binding medication. That night he just seemed to get worse and wasn't getting any better. We woke up the next morning to the site of a very sick puppy, so we rushed him to another vet( because the Lonehill vet didn't see anything wrong with him) and just by talking to them on the phone they correctly diagnosed my puppy with the correct illness. Turns out my puppy had parvovirus and had all the symptoms linked to this virus. Lonehill vet did not even pick this up when we told him the exact symptoms my puppy was experiencing. Due to the parvovirus we had to put our little puppy down. Should we have know what was actually wrong with him we could have ended his suffering earlier. I was and still am completely disappointed with the Lonehill Veterinary Clinic and won't be coming back or recommending it to anyone. Read Less
