This is a world class facility for trauma and emergency. My geriatric dog had an accident and had a cut on her ear. It was late evening and when I got to the clinic, my dog was bleeding. The staff saw to my dog immediately and treated my fur baby with kindness and courtesy. Special thanks to Dr Kirsten Fowler who was the vet on duty. Dr Fowler did an excellent job in repairing my dogs bruised ear. I would highly recommend Westville Animal Clinic for pets because of the excellent customer service received. Read Less

Treatment offered and suggested by the "vet" was more like a scare tactic to do more treatment and once we saw another vet he was confused as to why the Westville clinic diagnosed our pet the way that they did. For eg: we were told that our pet had a very bad lung infection and upon doing a blood smear ,the vet had diagnosed our pet to be anameic, the vet we had taken him to afterwards had advised us that you cannot determine an animal to be anaemic from a mere blood smear. And upon taking our pet to the other vet they refused to release important medical information which was needed for its treatment. The receptionist told us, and I quote "If you really cared about your animal you'd bring it back to us". This was after they had stated that even though we brought the pet the previous day, they needed to charge us a further R1100 again as they have to re start from scratch as they have a different vet but apparently no records from yesterdays visit. When we argued this obviously silly statement she told us "it seems as if you are financially struggling". This was absolutely rude and unacceptable behavior. Bottom line, THEY CARE MORE ABOUT MONEY THAN THE WELFARE OF AN ANIMAL. If you wanted the best interest of your pet, do not make the mistake of taking it here. Read Less

The biggest explotation that I have ever encounted in my entire life. A money making racket that is absolutely unjustifiable. R9000.00 for 19 hours in hospital a few blood tests x rays and medication for a so called ulcer. I will never recommend this money making hospital to anyone. It is absolutely criminal that places like this should get away with charging these absorbent price. Read Less
