Our area of jurisdiction falls within the uMngeni Municipal boundries (with the exception of Otto's Bluff which comes under the Pietermaritzburg SPCA and Nottingham Road which falls under Mooi River SPCA. Our area therefore includes Howick, Hilton, Cedara, Mpophomeni, Haza, Impendle, Dargle, Lidgetton, Balgowan, Karkloof and everything in between.

Bit delayed waiting for home inspection (a week) but very helpful and friendly staff and we are very happy with our new family member!!! Visited the first weekend to choose dog. Visited the next weeke...
Bit delayed waiting for home inspection (a week) but very helpful and friendly staff and we are very happy with our new family member!!! Visited the first weekend to choose dog. Visited the next weekend with my dog to make sure they'd get along. She was ready for collection the 3rd weekend to move to her new home.

Thank you Umgeni SPCA for your prompt attention and getting back to me when you said you would, regarding our latest family member. Although we were not from the area, the whole process was uncomplicated as we followed the correct protocol. Its been 5 weeks since we have our latest addition and he has slotted into our family so nicely, its as if he's been with us forever. Thank you for all the good work you do ensuring those without a voice are taken care of until they find a loving home.
