I had an emergency with my dog just before closing and all my local vets literally turned me away as I did not have an appointment !!!! I called a friend who recommended Blouberg Vet ( Casper )... I...
I had an emergency with my dog just before closing and all my local vets literally turned me away as I did not have an appointment !!!! I called a friend who recommended Blouberg Vet ( Casper )... I rushed there.... She was put on a drip and the testing started... long story which is not relevant here .... but he saved both my dogs that would have died for sure if left waiting for an appoimtment ... and never once did he ask for money, which is most unusual.... I kept wanting to make a payment and he said not to worry .. lets get your dogs right and find the cause and you can pay at the end. The staff are amazing ... truly ... I went to visit my Girls 3 times a day til they were better... now I buy all my doggy food and pills etc from Blouberg Vet even though its not really on my way home ... but it's worth it as they know their clients and are not greedy for MONEY !

What incredibly caring and helpful staff, assistants and veterinarians alike. My dog had cancer and the care he was given was exceptional right up until the very end. I dreaded the final moments but Casper was so knowledgeable and compassionate that the experience ultimately was almost euphoric. I highly recommend using their services. Thank you to ALL the staff.

Casper has been our Vet for the past thirteen years. We trust him with all our animals and is just so knowledgeable of animal behavior. I highly recommend using this vet as we have tried others in the area and have just had bad experiences and totally ripped off.
My only problem l have here is that they are not open on weekends when we have had an emergency. I did once take a duck here that had been knocked over, l was seen with the duck immediately, the duck was checked out and l wasn't even charged and was then sent to the bird sanctuary where they rehabilitated it.
This is the best vet in Blouberg / Tableview

Very terrible experience at this vet, I took a bird in to get it put down because it was severely injured and was suffering enormous amounts, so I asked if they could put it down immediately because of how much it was suffering.... 40 minutes later when I come back to see the bird they still have not put it down and it has still been suffering... And when I asked if they put it down the lady said yes but then I see her go to the back to put the bird down... this is so terrible and will never go there again nor will I ever suggest this vet to anyone

We visited Blouberg Vet with Luka, our Borzoi that swallowed a garden stone, on the 22nd of August 2014. We were heavily distressed after 3 days of caring for him as best we could since we cou the R1ld not afford the R10 000 quoted by another vet to have Luka operated on. Casper thoroughly examined Luka and referred us to the People's Dispensary for Sick Animals where he was operated on that same afternoon. Dr Joubert is kind, compassionate and gentle (with humans too ;-)). We will definitely take all our animals to him in future.

What incredibly caring and helpful staff, assistants and veterinarians alike. My dog had cancer and the care he was given was exceptional right up until the very end. I dreaded the final moments but Casper was so knowledgeable and compassionate that the experience ultimately was almost euphoric. I highly recommend using their services. Thank you to ALL the staff.

Casper has been our Vet for the past thirteen years. We trust him with all our animals and is just so knowledgeable of animal behavior. I highly recommend using this vet as we have tried others in the area and have just had bad experiences and totally ripped off.
My only problem l have here is that they are not open on weekends when we have had an emergency. Very terrible experience at this vet, I took a bird in to get it put down because it was severely injured and was suffering enormous amounts, so I asked if they could put it down immediately because of how much it was suffering.... 40 minutes later when I come back to see the bird they still have not put it down and it has still been suffering...
