Absolutely disappointed in the service from this vet. My dog went in for surgery and it has been a nightmare with trying to get his stitches to heal up not to mention the countless amount of bills which is all they cared about. It seemed the money was more important than the well being of my beloved pet. We took him to a different vet for a second opinion on the ongoing problem of the stitches not healing correctly - Blouberg Vet - and they were fantastic. They very quickly came up with a comfortable, and more cost effective solution to have the wound heal up. They then contacted Table View Animal Hospital requesting his medical history which in return Table View Animal hospital refused to complete the request and said we owed them money. In turn they also decided to have a gossip and tell our new vet that it’s our own fault because we don’t keep our dog still - TOTALLY unprofessional and quite frankly just all about the money! My dog is now feeling more comfortable with his new vets healing process without having to undergo stitches every week that cost over R1000!!!!!!!! I would not recommend this vet to anyone. Most of the receptionists are fantastic and very friendly, the larger lady with glasses is quite rude though and gives quite a sharp abrupt attitude when questions are asked that she doesn’t know the answer to - as if she is irritated by her client asking for information. A horrid experience. My dog was attacked by another dog, causing his skin to be torn. The stitching done by these people made "Surgeon Simulator" Let's Players look like PHD physicians. After the surgery they told us to come back in two days to have his bandages removed. Which one of these two things do you think happened, dear reader? 1. The pierced skin (all the way down to his dermis), miraculously healed in two days, and after that he bravely resisted the urge to scratch the remains of the wound. Happy ending. 2. Two days turned out to be too little time for his skin to seal, and then, as can be expected form a dog, he scratched open his wound, forcing us to go back to this place, and pay another small fortune to have it restitched. 2. The answer is 2. Should we have trusted them, and go against our own judgement? We thought so. But apparently the answer is no. Apparently a trained professional had less foresight than a college student. Love of dogs, my ass. Read Less

Feeling absolutely heartsore at the service from the male vet at your branch today, after having a traumatic 2 days with my sister in laws dog (as they are on holiday), I was totally disappointed in my dog being told he would not be looked at and that I had to go to Panarama where he was rushed to at 3am in the morning the previous night. I was extremely panicked due to my dog having what I assumed was a bad reaction to a muscle relaxant. ALL I NEEDED to know was if the symptoms he was having which was shortness of breath and shivering, if it was normal and if he would be ok. I totally accept that I may have been abrupt and rude but it was only due to me being panicked and everytime I spoke to someone that they needed a full history when it was on the system already. So yes I was in the wrong but my worry was for the dog who I felt was struggling. Instead of the vet asking me to calm down and lets have a look at him, I was instead told that I shouldn't be jumping from vet to vet when Panarama was the only one open at 3 in the morning, otherwise I would not have gone there. Panarama had sent all his stuff to Table View so all his info was there. The dog didn't even need to be seen as the information could have been given to me over the phone. I honestly cannot believe I was told that the vet did not want to help me as he did not prescribe the medication and that I would then need to drive all the way to Panarama stressing the dog out even more and then them being able to tell me exactly what Table View could have. Once again I agree I was panicked and abrupt. Any vet would have asked me to please calm down and let just look at the dog, instead I was told to leave while my poor dog who was struggling to breathe. Zelda was absolutely amazing and the vet from the day before too. I walked away knowing that I was not 100% in the right but anyone could see I was just worried. Once again feeling a little disgusted and shocked. I don't know how a professional vet cannot know if a certain medicine can have certain side effects. I then phoned Panarama and explained to them that I was turned away at Table View and they were EXTREMELY helpful and gave me all the information I needed over the phone. Flabbergasted with the whole situation :0 Read Less

I am house sitting for somebody and their little kitten fell sick yesterday. So I decided to bring him to the vet, I called the owner of the kitten and they said that they bring their animals to this vet. I was well aware that accounts have to be settled after the consultation. Once I arrived to the vet, I explained to the receptionist what the issue was and told them that the owners have been here before. She doesn't even assure me that there is a Vet available to see the kitten, she looks at myself and the people that I came with and says: "Well we don't have accounts here, So does anybody here have money?" Just her whole body language and the way she asked it honestly disgusts me. Just because I am a young woman at the age of 20 years old I don't appreciate the way she spoke to me, despite our age difference, she was the one providing me a service and if you ask me I think everybody of age should be treated with the same amount of respect no matter how I look or how old you think that I am especially if she is providing me a service. There are signs clearly showing THAT THEY DO NOT HAVE ACCOUNTS AND PAYMENT IS LIABLE AFTER CONSULT. Which I fully understood. I myself am a receptionist and I am disgusted in the way she treated me as I know customer care is very important . I understand that there are rules and she is just doing her job, it is just the way that she handled the situation and she could of spoken to me in a more professional manner and her body language said it all !! If it wasn't for the very friendly and sweet vet my experience would have been terrible ! Read Less
