Very very dissapointed by the service I received from Dr. Frick this morning.
I took my two dogs there this morning, one of them being a husky and the other a golden triever puppy to get his final vaccination. Never in my life have I experienced a situation where a vet is not excited to greet a pup or where they are rude to me and my animals for trying to say hi to them. If you are going to get upset everytime a puppy jumps up to you to say hi because they are excited to meet you, maby you should consider not practising as a vet.
You would think vets like dogs and understand them!!
As people know, or more specifically a vet, huskies are vocal dogs ( which make them even more adorable) and it seemed that she only got upset with my dog howling from excitement. WOW.
Dr. Frick was rude, impatient and unprofessional and I would NEVER take my dogs to see her again. If she is not even happy to see us or treat us properly, how is she going to treat my dogs for any check - up and / or treatment.
All the other Dr.s there especially Dr. Jackson has only been kind and professional, I suggest you rather take your pets to him for any check - up, seeing as he actaully like animals.
Very dissapointed. I expect you to take this up with Dr Frick, as this is no way to treat any client and / or animal!! Read Less

Bad experience. Unprofessional and no respect for non white customers dr and receptionist . We had an appt at 11-30. Our visit visit ever. We didn’t know the setup . Arrived on time . Receptionist did not acknowledge us, although we stood around not buying anything . We didn’t interfere as she was helping a customer. She helped a second customer , then I asked where is the dr. So the custom points at the door . So it’s ten to 12 and we have not been seen to. Another old customer arrives and she helps his first . Totally still ignoring us!!! Then I said excuse me we have an appt for 11-3o. Oh I’ll tell the dr now . She didn’t . She helped the new customer first because apparently we are a new patient and it will take long hence helping us last . Then the vet asks her where the 11-30 patient is cause it’s 11-50. After which I interrupted and stated my case. The vet ignored us . And walked to the customer and spoke to him. Eventually she called us in and I explained to her what has happened. After which she said she’s pushed for time! How can you speak to your patient like that when it’s your staff that’s a problem!! Is it a colour issue. Will never want to go back . I have taken 3 of 5 our cats there over a period of a year, a 4th one going there today, twice without appointments, & have only had excellent and friendly service. Only met Dr Jackson once and he was great! The other 2 locums were also knowledgeable and friendly. One even stayed after hours, on a Sunday (!) to operate on my cat who had developed a large abcess in his stomach after a bite. The receptionist also stayed - she too has also been great and compassionate. I'm hugely surprised at previous negative reviews & can only assume that, either the smart people from this clinic reflected the attitude of the reviwers, or they learned from the reviews and vastly upped their game! Either way, they have earned our loyalty :) Read Less

Die Boord Veterinary Clinic has been a disappointment and I will not take my pet back there. The issues I have are probably not with the actual veterinarians but with one receptionist in particular who is rude, unhelpful and very unprofessional. The biggest issue that I have is that they implanted a microchip into my cat and this microchips number does not correspond with the number on the registration form which they gave me. This is causing a lot of issues now since I am getting ready to export my cat to the EU. After I have taken my cat to another clinic and saw how well they are organized and their genuine willingness to help, I will never go back to Die Boord Vet Clinic again. Read Less

One doctor (Claudien) had held the practice open for us one evening to bring our little Pomeranian in when we had a death scare from him heart condition. I took my two dogs there this morning, one of them being a husky and the other a golden triever puppy to get his final vaccination. Never in my life have I experienced a situation where a vet is not excited to greet a pup or where they are rude to me and my animals for trying to say hi to them.
