Just moved here a few months ago after being at another vet for 10yrs. Wish we'd moved earlier. Everyone from receptionist up to owners are amazing. We have just changed from a veterinary practice that we have been going to for the last 14 years with our Yorkshire terrier. The reason we changed was because I was so impressed with the personal touch that Katie had with my sons puppy. Last week our dog Niko had to get treatment and Niko couldn’t have been in better hands, Katie took the time to phone me after his treatment to give us reassurance that everything went well, nothing seemed too much trouble. When I went for his post op appointment, Katie took the time to go through everything with me. I am so pleased that Katie looked after Niko, the care he was given was as if he was her own. Great practice, brilliant reception team, nurses, and the only vet I’ve found who can give my nervous cat an injection without gauntlets. Also very thorough - diagnosed her with a digestive issue other vets missed. Wouldn’t take Tiki anywhere else now we’ve found them. Read Less

A wonderful vets practice, there's nowhere I'd rather take my animals. Both Andrew and Kevin are very good with all kinds of animals and willing to listen to the owners worries and opinions. I once asked about an alternative treatment for a sick rat and rather than be dismissed as other vets might, Kevin took the time to look it up and see if it was possible for him to use. Another time Andrew came up to the house at 4 in the morning due to a very ill pet having a seizure and us not having transport. Kind, thoughtful all around good vets. Read Less

I have been to many vets over the years & have a 9 year old cat who has been looked after by Aurora all his life. All staff are nice & very professional & personally I would not go to any other practice in Aberdeen. My family also use Their services for their animals. Read Less

Absolutely brilliant practice, I moved my animals here from a previous vet after being recommended to me and my only regret is that I hadn't done it sooner. My animals have been seen by Kevin and I could not have asked for anyone better to look after my babies. He just goes that extra mile for them. Marcia at reception is also very welcoming. I cannot fault Aurora. They are the only vets I would trust my pets with 100%!! I cannot thank them enough for the care they showed when I lost my old dog and for saving my current dogs life (who still has a long way to go but who would no longer be here if it wasn't for Katie!!). My French Bulldog is now 2 and a half years old and I just wish I had discovered this vet sooner. Previously used a vet closer to home and due to not being happy with the service and care received, I came to Aurora based on recommendations and I am so glad I did. After filling in an online form I was contacted not long after and spoke with a very friendly lady on the phone to book an appointment, which put me at ease straight away. After our first visit we got Kevin as our vet and I couldn't be happier with how he was with my dog and how he spoke with us as owners, this appointment lasted over 20 minutes so he really did take the time to get to the bottom of my dogs health problems. You can tell that he truly cares for the welfare of the animals and have since seen Kevin again as he is monitoring how my dog is. He is now a healthy and happy dog and I now don't dread taking him to the vets. Read Less
