This was my second visit to the practice since looking after the 2 cats which belonged to my neighbour who moved back to Romania almost 18 months ago. Visited the AVR practice near to my home and was passed on to the Bridge practice. Both cats were given a full MOT which was very thorough,fully explained and costed. 2nd visit was for boosters and 1 cat required a haircut because it was a bit matted. Again it was fully explained and costed by Vet. Gave 1 star because our cats liked the vet we first saw.However,We had been buying medicines from Bridge Vets for some time (wasn't sure why we were paying double the price for exactly the same meds we got from our previous vets but we didn't mention it as our cats were happy).We needed to save money and requested a 6month repeat prescription for the 2 meds so we could source them online.The vets would only provide us with 1 off prescriptions meaning we had to buy 6 months worth of medicine*2 in the one transaction.We politely explained that we could not afford this.I was put through to the practice manager who was extremely rude and condescending. Throughout the conversation she didn't mention my cat once.Just spoke about me and my wife. Week later she sent us a letter telling us to find a new vets,without giving reason.We were both shocked.In the letter she stated our cat was stable.Some months later our cat passed away.We are still grieving.Would not recommend this vet at all. My dog normally hates the vet but did so well here. The vet herself was great - professional, thorough , and kind. The rest of the stage were also very pleasant. Couldn't ask for anything more. We will definitely be coming back for all our pets veterinary needs. Read Less

Can't thank the staff enough for the compassion shown to us on the very hard decision we had to make to let our precious cat go. Thank you to the young lad on reception, who seeing we were upset on arrival, took us right into the treatment room, took in chairs for us and asked if there was anything else we would like, what a very considerate young man. I just like to thank Bridge Vets. I'm not sure of the name of the vet I saw tonight, but she was so helpful and patient with my extremely nervous and aggressive Jack Russell. It was our second attempt and although we were there over half an hour I never felt she was in a rush or thought he was a nuisance or anything. Even I felt calm with her. Thank you so,so much. The Bridge Of Don branch was our vet and we couldn't fault any of the staff we dealt with. Always a warm and friendly welcome along with knowledgeable and dedicated staff. I loved the little extras like the reminder cards/emails and I really felt they went out of their way to help our cat Snoopy. Can't thank them enough! Read Less

We had decided for various reasons to change vet to Bridge Vets and I am so pleased we did. Unfortunately, our little poodle is no longer with us but I'm so pleased her final treatment was at Bridge Vets. A massive heartfelt thank you to Christine who talked us through the options for Gemma in a very caring and sensitive manner. Gemma's last day was a very sad one but Christine helped us to cope and to say Goodbye. The atmosphere at Bridge Vets was very friendly and welcoming. Phoned about 6 tonight as my cat had a sore paw, they said 6:30 latest but phone if my cat appears, however told me they do close at 7pm. Thought there was a chance my dog could have a tick so nipped him in past vet had a look said no and I was out of there within 5 minutes and was charged 50! Also when I lifted my dog onto the table it was very unsecure and my dog nearly jumped off! This was my second visit the first visit I was over charged! my cat unfortunately was put to sleep whilst at Bridge Vet, this had nothing to do with the care he received just that there was nothing they could do for his illness. however, my issue is with the invoice I received. My cat was in bridge vets care for 23 hours in this time he received oxygen, x-rays and his heart was checked, no surgery and I was faced with a 1200 bill for this. After querying the invoice I was told there had been a mistake and i'd been overcharged for oxygen at a total of 378.00, this amount was refunded however still left a very hefty bill of 800+ which I personally think is extremely high for the treatment he received and time he was in there care.Read Less

Male vet nice enough. the rest really rude. refused to talk to me even though I was the dog owner. (I personally hope they were not discrimination cause I was only 16 or cause I was disabled) I left there 7 yrs ago after 5 yrs of taken my dog there. Am sure it is all changed (I hope) Read Less
