Appalling service and attitude. Cremation procedure following a euthanasia not explained properly leading to confusion and almost a month later it is still not sorted as their practice manager lies - she says she will call the crematorium and then call you and she doesn’t. Totally unprofessional.
The reception staff - never have I ever been spoken to so condescendingly- they should be ashamed.
Lots of locals complaining about service from them recently and stating it’s ‘all about the money’ and interesting to see that some of their 5* reviews here are actuallly from their own staff!!
We have since tried Mintlaw vets and what a complete breath or fresh air - wonderful people and service.

Had my boy up here on Friday night after injuring his eye . Our boy is terrified of vets but was put at ease straight away . He absolutely loved the vet even giving him kisses . The boy explained everything as he was doing . Can’t thank him enough .

The staff in here are incredibly nice and helpful. My dogs love their visits to the vets. Nurses vets and receptionists are very supportive

Hugo graduated last night from his puppy party and i was shocked at how well he has progressed over the past 4 weeks. Sad to see him being finished - think its great to get the puppies interacting wit...
Hugo graduated last night from his puppy party and i was shocked at how well he has progressed over the past 4 weeks. Sad to see him being finished - think its great to get the puppies interacting with each other which has helped when Hugo meets other dogs whilst walking.

Nova attended puppy classes there and she loved it, staff always happy to see her and boost her confidence and give us advice on making sure she's healthy and achievening milestones :)

Had a great 4 week's with the puppy party. Kaiser loved every minute and the staff were great with him and the other puppys too. Very informative and always helpful with any worries or questions.

Amazing vets. Go there regularly with my diabetic chinchilla and my other one is currently there. They do everything they can and I know my babies are in good hands there.

Thats my puppy just finished her 4 week puppy partys.. totally loved it. Great to meet other pups. Would recommend. Bertha will be sad no seeing her new pals

Top class service both animals and owners treat with compassion dignity can always be contacted in out of hours .All vets treat the animals with care and dignity and compassion are there for owners and pet right up to the end of life for your pet . would not use any other vet tried previous vets when first moved up to area Buchan vets leaves them all standing in expertise quality of care you are texted to remind you of injection boosters worming and flea updates never seen my dogs so happy in going to a vet.

Sadly I had to rush our family dog here the day after my Mum's funeral, and after tests we found out we needed to have him put to sleep. It was a devastating time for us all right after losing Mum/Nan...
Sadly I had to rush our family dog here the day after my Mum's funeral, and after tests we found out we needed to have him put to sleep. It was a devastating time for us all right after losing Mum/Nanny, but all the stuff were lovely and kind. We now take our cats there and when we get a dog, we will certainly bring him/her here as well. I'd recommend Buchan Vets to anyone local.

Cant thank Scott enough for the compassion he's shown me, my family and most importantly my Golden boy Malachi in the years he's seen us. He totally gets it , he knows the love that we shared with our special boy more so than any other vet we,ve saw. Cant thank him enough and can never find the words to try and thank him for all hes done for us. Scott u r one in a million, what more can i say ??? All the staff there have shown both my boy and us the family huge support over the years we have taken our very much loved dog there. Will def return to Buchan Vets when we find the right time to,share our love with a new furry addition to our family , never a replacement , but a welcomed addition

i would just like to thank the people who work here very much for there kindness to me when i had to get my little doggie put to rest 2 weeks ago i had him for 13 years so it broke my heart but i know i did the best for him once again thank you so much as little Chicco is now happy in rainbow bridge with all hie little friends

Sadly I had to rush our family dog here the day after my Mum's funeral, and after tests we found out we needed to have him put to sleep. It was a devastating time for us all right after losing Mum/Nanny, but all the stuff were lovely and kind.
