Excellent vets. Professional and friendly. I've been coming here for years. Two cats, four greyhounds and various guinea pigs have all been treated here by Nikki and her lovely team over the years. It's been great to watch this business blossom over the length of time I have been bringing my pets. My only grumble is that the out of hours emergency vet service is passed on to Rowe Veterinary Group animal hospital at Bradley Stoke who I have had a very bad experience with. I brought my greyhound in and I feel we could not have been treated better. We were warmly received at reception with smiles and a welcome treat for May. Our vet, Sophie was kind and thorough and she was most diligent in spending time assessing May and asking questions about her and our problem. I would highly recommend this practice. Read Less

I had been going to a large franchise vet for years simply because it was closer to home and my cat hated to travel in the car. I wish I had left them ages ago and came to Animal Health Centre instead! Our usual veterinary practice really let me down this past summer but even more so when it was necessary to put our cat to sleep recently. Fortunately I came to Animal Health Centre instead and the team was so helpful, compassionate and friendly and I really appreciated this during such a difficult time. We recently had to put my cat to sleep after quite a mysterious and traumatic illness. The staff at Animal Health Centre were fantastic and really made every effort to figure out what was wrong and come up with a plan, right down to a group discussion at reception on the best way to try to give a cat tablets! Sadly we had to say goodbye to Lucia but I feel that with Animal Health Centre's help we did everything we could to try to make her better. Read Less

I can't rate this place highly enough. I have a quite nervous whippet called Herbie and they've been so amazing at helping him out. They've always managed to fit him in when it was important. They do little things like come and give him a biscuit when he gets nervous while waiting in the waiting area. They all clearly really care about their dog/cat/patients and I wouldn't dream of taking our little guy anywhere else. Read Less

Absolutely amazed by the service at the Animal Health Centre. Was able to get a Saturday appointment at short notice for my elderly cat. The examination was very thorough, treatment prescribed instantly, and a follow up examination for further investigation was arranged for the next week. The vet herself rang to report his pathology test results and explained them well. Our previous vets (Zetland Rd) quoted unnecessary treatments at extortionate prices and barely spent 5 minutes examining my cat. I feel I have had incredible value for money here. Excellent service, wonderful staff. Would recommend to any domestic pet owners. Read Less
