General Info
Backwell Veterinary Surgery offers a convenient, competitvely priced local service, while still being committed to providing quality care and treatment to your pet who we consider to be a member of your family. The surgery is equipped for general anaesthesia, radiography, ultrasound, dental treatment and most routine surgical procedures. We have a purpose built ward for inpatients and offer hospitalisation for those whose clinical conditions require it at our main hospital located in the centre of Bristol. We are happy to refer patients to other centres of expertise when more specialised diagnosistc or surgical techniques are indicated.

I have used Backwell Vets for years, and Susan Yeo and the staff have treated all our cats with great expertise. My current 4 year old rescue cats, ginger Georgie and black Ginnie have just had their yearly booster. In this current clime I was most impressed with the way they are dealing with the situation. Thank you.

I've been using Backwell Veterinary Practice for about 20 years. Sue and her staff have always been very helpful and professional. Showing patience and compassion when very hard decisions had to be made. I will be taking the newest addition to my family in to meet her team next week as I wouldn't dream of taking him anywhere else.

I have received the best service, advice and help from Sue.
I was told by another local veterinary practice that my dog needed a full hip replacement so I went to Sue for a second opinion. After we had a full discussion about the operation versus alternative treatments to try first, we decided to go down the latter route. Thank god we did, as all my dog has now is the vets joint supplements and the very, very occasional pain killer...no hip replacement required in the foreseeable future.
Sue knows her stuff!! Great move to change veterinary clinic for me!

We have used Backwell vets since we moved from Clifton 5 years ago. The service we have received is exemplary and we have no doubt that our dogs are in the safest of hands with Sue, Jo, Debbie and the team. Can't recommend this practice highly enough.

I've used Backwell Veterinary Centre for some years now and I have always been very happy with the treatment that my dog receives and the value of the treatment.
Sue Yeo has great experience and inspires confidence when she gives her diagnosis. Even when Sue hasn't ben available, the other Vets also give clear and confident diagnosis.

I've been using Backwell Veterinary Practice for about 20 years. Sue and her staff have always been very helpful and professional. Showing patience and compassion when very hard decisions had to be made. I was told by another local veterinary practice that my dog needed a full hip replacement so I went to Sue for a second opinion.
