General Info
We are a small, friendly practice for the local people of Clifton and the surrounding area. Our aim is to provide loving care for your pet throughout its life, from the smallest chinchilla to the largest great dane.
Our team, lead by James Pickering, is comprised of two vets, James himself and Kate Ward, as well as two nurses, Claire Lilwall and Lucy Churchill, and two animal care assistants, Jemima Harrison and Kerry Marcus. Kerry Moore is our practice manager as well as main receptionist and is helped out at the weekends by Megan Jones.

EXCELLENT PRACTICE. All staff are friendly & caring, and the Vets are very good. Reasonable pricing.
James (the Practice owner) is exceptional in terms of knowledge and 'going the extra mile' with care. NOTE he is the only Vet I have found in the local area who is knowledgeable on BIRDS (our budgie) & HAMSTERS (& guinea pigs). (Few people own hamsters & birds these days, & Vets mainly only know about cats/dogs). We have been his customers for 12 years.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The vets know exactly what they're doing with our two rabbits and I know I can trust them. They're not too expensive either. I've had one rabbit spayed and one neutered here and both times the vets were brilliant.
The first time my rabbit went to be spayed they weren't happy with how she was breathing so they brought her back round and didn't go through with the op, they didn't charge me and said to come back when she was older, which I did.
The second time round they tried a different anaesthetic on her and the operation went really well. I get the impression that the staff all really care for your animals which is very nice to see.

We have been taking our pet rabbits and pet dog to Clifton Vets for the past 4 years and find the vets very good. They have a very patient and caring approach and we would highly recommend them.

I have seen vets in the past looking in a book to treat my Rats and gave the wrong answers, I have never had this here James is amazing with my pets he handles and treats them so well that they feel at ease I will keep recommending this practice to pet owners as this is a great and kind place for your pets.

We have two French Bulldogs under the care of this practice and cannot recommend it enough James and Kate are both excellent Vets and you can tell they really care about the job they do and how important your animals are to you. All of the reception staff are also first rate, friendly and efficient. Even though we have moved out of the area we wouldn't dream of using anyone else.

James (the Practice owner) is exceptional in terms of knowledge and 'going the extra mile' with care. Very friendly and helpful staff. The vets know exactly what they're doing with our two rabbits and I know I can trust them. They're not too expensive either. I've had one rabbit spayed and one neutered here and both times the vets were brilliant.
