We are a 24 hour small animal veterinary hospital. We provide high quality care for small pets such as dogs, cats, rabbits and even things a little more exotic time to time.
Our main Hospital is based in Zetland Road, Redland. We Also have branches at Westbury-On-Trym, Stoke Bishop, Patchway, Filton, Fishponds, Hotwells, Backwell and a little further a field, Cheltenham .
We are very proud that all out of hours care is provided at Zetland Road Veterinary Hospital. This means your pet will be seen promptly by an experienced emergency vet who will have direct access to your patient's full clinical history. We have a vets and nurses on site 24 hours a day, meaning there is constant supervision and treatment available for all your inpatients. Simply call us at ANY TIME 24 hours a day / 7 days a week.

We are travelling on a narrow boat and visiting Bristol. Our dog had a problem with his ear, we noticed on Saturday morning. The practice opened at 12:00 and we were waiting on the doorstep. Wendy, the receptionist let us in and offered an appointment at 3:45 that afternoon, or on second thoughts “let’s see if a vet comes in early and will see you before normal appointments “. They did see us and diagnosed a grass seed in the ear, which needed to be taken out under sedation. We needed their hospital, facility to get this done and an appointment was booked for the following day (Sunday) at 12:00 (it could have been Saturday but an emergency was being seen). We were contacted by the hospital to ask if we would prefer a 9:00am appointment on Sunday. Yes we would! We duly turned up at 9:00 Sunday morning to be greeted by a friendly nurse/receptionist and then Vet. By 10:00 all done.
Thanks to all concerned for their friendly and “can do” attitude. We would recommend this practice without hesitation.

A heartfelt thank you to the vet and vet nurses on the Saturday night shift at the Zetland Rd 24hr practice. They kindly took in a badly injured deer and gave it the immediate emergency treatment it so desperately needed. As a Responce driver for Secret World Wildlife Rescue it's always reassuring to know that the staff here will always take in and treat any injured animals. Their dedication and willingness to go above and beyond makes them a truly valued ally in the fight to help our wonderful British wildlife.

Amazing vets!! My dog Tanya has her chemo there, everyone is so friendly and helpful, Tan used to hate going to the vets but now she just waltzes in, it must be do do with how lovely they are to her when she's there. I would recommend Zetland to anyone, they have lots of branches too so you will always have a one near by.

I want to say a huge thank you to the team at zetland veterinary group for looking after our girl Sarah this weekend. The team were helpful, understanding, supportive and did all they could for our pup. They arranged visits for us and always kept in contact with regards to her care. It was touch and go for a minute but with a great team and a big fight from Sarah shes now home and eating, doing well. I can't thank them/you enough. You bought back the light in my heart Thank you x

We have been using Zetland Veterinary Group since we got our boys (cats!) almost 11 years ago now. The level of customer care has always been exceptional from dealing with their yearly immunisations to major surgery after being run over. I would like to take this opportunity to say a massive THANK YOU to Sally at the Filton branch who is an asset to the company, she is always happy and friendly, whilst staying completely professional. Always provided us with impeccable customer service, we deal with alot of people over the phone daily and it's always a pleasure to speak with Sally!

Wendy is a calm, friendly and helpful voice on the end of the phone, always a pleasure to see when check up time comes round. My name is Maddy and I have been coming to see everyone at Hotwells since I was a puppy. I love it here and if my mummy lets me I often pop in to get some extra love and treats, (the lovely lady in reception, Wendy, has some hidden - don't tell everyone, you have to be really good to get one) they are so friendly and when I am not well they look after me and make me feel better. The kind people arrange for my food to be delivered and let mummy and daddy know when I need my jabs - they really are the best.

We've been with this practice for years and they've given Dorabella (an ageing, grumpy tortoiseshell bag of furry evil, or "cat" for short) nothing but the best of care, from simple check-ups to full-on hospitalisation. The vets have always known their stuff, and reception has been consistently friendly, helpful and good-humoured. I can't recommend them highly enough.

An incredibly personal, friendly, knowledgeable and supportive practice. We have 4 dogs all of whom are known and looked after really well by Hotwells. Wendy in reception provides a warm welcome and a great and efficient service. The vets provide a caring, considered expertise which we and the dogs really appreciate. An excellent all round service for which we are very grateful.
