RSPCA Bristol Clinic

Bristol, Avon
General Info
The RSPCA Bristol Clinic, the biggest branch veterinary clinic in the country, delivers over 16,000 treatments to sick and injured animals every year.
Bristol Dogs & Cats Home provides care, shelter and a rehoming service for nearly 2,000 unwanted dogs, cats and small animals a year.
Together we make up the RSPCA Bristol & District Branch, giving thousands of local animals in need a second chance for a happy life, free from pain or neglect.
With so many animals to care for our running costs exceed Β£1.7m a year. Although a branch of the RSPCA we are actually an independent charity and receive no money from the Government or Lottery. We therefore rely on the support from the local community to continue our important work.

Initially I was going to purchase a puppy from a breeder but after much consideration I decided I would rather give a dog a second chance.I received a very warm welcome from reception and I was quickly introduced to the dog I enquired about. The care assistants are very attentive, knowledgeable and you can see they have a true interest in the animals they care for.The adoption procedure went very smoothly and a lot quicker than I expected. I was a bit anxious taking Scooby home but I shouldn't of worried-he instantly made himself at home. Read Less

This is also a clinic that will take in injured stray and wild animals but you MUST phone the number first before bringing anything in. They also give low cost vet procedures for those who cannot afford it.
