Our elderly dog, Buddy, has recently had surgery once again. He is almost 13 and we were quite worried how he would cope with the procedure as he has quite complex needs. Maria and her team were absolutely amazing. I cannot thank them enough. They are extremely professional and knowledgeable but also very caring and thoughtful. They did everything possible to help Buddy cope with the procedure. Kate even brought a little rug and a pillow for Buddy to rest his weary bones whilst the pre med took effect. Buddy isn’t an easy patient to manage in a strange environment as he soon gets very stressed. Maria you were superb. You knew exactly how to keep Buddy calm and relaxed. Hence the op went really well and Buddy recovered in no time. The aftercare was also very thorough. We’ve had dogs all our life and have visited many vets. You could not get better than Viking Vets. We are very lucky and privileged to have them in Bristol. Thank you Maria for tailoring your practice to meet my elderly dog’s needs.

Viking Vets are incredibly knowledgeable and caring team who give the very best treatment and care to the animals they see. My cat was recently very ill and had to spend a week at the vets but I'm pleased to say he's now back home and on the mend thanks to everyone at Viking Vets. A truly amazing practice and I would (and do!) recommend them to everyone.

I feel that I can trust the team at Viking Vets completely. They have always been very genuine and honest and I have never felt that I've been overcharged for any treatment or advice we've been given with any of our pets. They are one of a few independent vets left in Bristol where you can actually see the same vet every time you go, a person that will be 100% familiar with the problems your pet is having, which I feel makes for an effective treatment over time. My family's dogs and cats have been to Viking Vets from kittens and puppies to the end and now my own first dog is going there and I have never felt in better hands.

Viking Vets are the most knowledgeable, committed, caring and friendly team. There's always a genuine welcome at the door and you know that your pet will receive effective and gentle treatment. My dog always goes in wagging his tail and happily meets everyone. I visited several local vets before deciding on Viking Vets because nothing was too much trouble . They make me feel at ease and fully confident in their professionalism. I wouldn't trust the care of my very special lad to anyone else.

If i had not moved from my previous vets 4 years ago, my welsh springer spaniel would not be with us today. He had a skin condition for 9 years, which was not taken seriously, but within a month or so...
If i had not moved from my previous vets 4 years ago, my welsh springer spaniel would not be with us today. He had a skin condition for 9 years, which was not taken seriously, but within a month or so viking had it under control. He has a heart condition never picked up by the previous practice, and is now on meds to control this. I am only glad i had switched to viking when he collapsed, and was diagnosed with laryngeal paralysis. Viking referred me to a specialist within days, for emergency surgery. What an oustanding team of professionals, I will be forever grateful.

Have been using this practice almost since it opened. They have looked after a number of my dogs and cats and in my view have always acted first and foremost in the best interests of the pet concerned. Their fees appear reasonable and I have never felt that their own financial considerations affected in any way their clinical judgement. They have recently invested in an excellent new facility specifically to enhance their care for cats but first and foremost I applaud them for clearly combining considerable expertise with a friendly and caring approach. Highly recommended.

Our elderly dog, Buddy, has recently had surgery once again. He is almost 13 and we were quite worried how he would cope with the procedure as he has quite complex needs. Maria and her team were absolutely amazing. I cannot thank them enough. They are extremely professional and knowledgeable but also very caring and thoughtful. They did everything possible to help Buddy cope with the procedure. Kate even brought a little rug and a pillow for Buddy to rest his weary bones whilst the pre med took effect. Buddy isn’t an easy patient to manage in a strange environment as he soon gets very stressed. Maria you were superb. You knew exactly how to keep Buddy calm and relaxed. My cat was recently very ill and had to spend a week at the vets but I'm pleased to say he's now back home and on the mend thanks to everyone at Viking Vets. I feel that I can trust the team at Viking Vets completely. They have always been very genuine and honest and I have never felt that I've been overcharged for any treatment or advice we've been given with any of our pets. They are one of a few independent vets left in Bristol where you can actually see the same vet every time you go, a person that will be 100% familiar with the problems your pet is having, which I feel makes for an effective treatment over time. My family's dogs and cats have been to Viking Vets from kittens and puppies to the end and now my own first dog is going there and I have never felt in better hands.

Viking Vets are the most knowledgeable, committed, caring and friendly team. There's always a genuine welcome at the door and you know that your pet will receive effective and gentle treatment. My dog always goes in wagging his tail and happily meets everyone. I visited several local vets before deciding on Viking Vets because nothing was too much trouble . They have looked after a number of my dogs and cats and in my view have always acted first and foremost in the best interests of the pet concerned.
