Disgusting service for our cockapoo who we had neutered at the barn. When we picked up our cockapoo I noticed he had feaces around his fur around his bottom, I thought it was annoying the vets hadn’t mentioned it when I picked him up, but these things happen and would clean it when home! However after lifting my dog back out of the car once home my car seats were covered in feaces. My dog was also trying to get rid of the feaces from his fur - clearly stressed out. I lifted his tail and it was disgusting - the feaces had clearly been there for a substantial amount of time and was matted with clumps in his tail and all over his backside. When I rang the vets to explain that I was not pleased with how my dog had been left a locum rang me who insisted that my dog had not been to the toilet whilst at the barn! The feaces were caked in the puppies fur and there is no way nobody working there did not notice -and if they didn’t notice that the puppy had been to the toilet whilst in their care I have a larger concern about how the barn look after animals in general. I understand these things happen but the reaction of the staff when I raised a concern was disgusting service and I have no confidence that this would not happen again. Read Less

Recently moved to the area and had to book the cat in for surgery to remove one tooth. Receptionist provided detailed advice over the phone on what the likely cost may be (referring to recent work which had been done, showing the regularity of their surgeries) and was most helpful. I booked an appointment with surgery on the same day and was very pleased with the service. Whilst registering my cat over the phone prior to the appointment they made sure to collect all the details of the past vets who have dealt with him to ensure they have all his accurate records and history (a service amazingly not supplied by all vet practices!). Cat coped with the surgery well, receptionists informative on the post surgery call and on collection. Follow-up appointment was also included in the price of surgery and, whilst the cat wasn't pleased to be back, the vet handled him quickly but thoroughly to minimise stress. She was also knowledgeable on the cats notes, despite not being the vet I saw on initial consultation. Good service and will be using them as my main vets in future. Read Less
