I have been with this practice for 8 years. I have 4 hairless dogs. I cannot praise this team enough. I have 1 dog who is a right old sick note and never have i been made to feel stupid or over protective. Jonny, steph, maria, hannah, and the entire team work really hard. From the reception staff to the nurses to the vets i cannot thank this team or reccomend them highly enough. I moved 30 mins away and still remained with this practice. There quick diagnosis have saved 2 of my dogs lives already and they are always happy to discuss matters over the telephone. I have never had to wait for urgent results. In fact steph once phoned me after she had finished work to give me some blood test results she knew i was eagerly awaiting.

The puppy socializing is a great thing to take part in as it's not just playing there is training, tips, help and advice.

We chose the vets here many years ago. We would say to our four legged family "we are off to see Uncle Pip". Then as the years progressed it was Johnny and Nick and all the fantastic vets and nurses that have become part of our four legged lives, and ours. During happy and the dreaded saddest times, the care and attention we have all received was and still is the best we could hope for. We would never go anywhere else. Thank you

Having recently moved to the Isle of Man, I still have my dogs and cats on Hungerford Vets' books. I don't want anyone else dealing with their health (unless of course emergency necessitates it). Johnny is the most lovely vet - always honest and compassionate toward both our (now sadly deceased) gorgeous cat Doug - who was a long time resident at the practice and who learned to open the door to the cattery section And our severely epileptic dog Matilda. Many people have questioned why I've persevered when things looked bleak, but not once did Johnny tell me to make that most dreaded of decisions. Clearly had as much faith in her as I did, and she's with us and loving life. Thank you all. Quite a team. X

Very disappointed in this practice, I used to think very highly of it. Our dog was taken to a vet in Christchurch after collapsing on a day out. Hungerford vets were contacted twice to ask for advice on our dogs condition, which they were familiar with. No information was forwarded. Also, I am still waiting for a phone call requested over a week ago. I thought the vet would like to know of our dogs death considering he had cared for him.

I've been with this practise for just over a decade now- have always had the best, most honest and most compassionate service from all involved. Would recommend to anyone looking for a vet in the area to register here. So important to have somewhere that understands your dogs and cats (and Hens at one point ) are part of your family, and so treat you and them accordingly.

I have been with this practice for 8 years. I have 4 hairless dogs. I cannot praise this team enough.
