Oakley vets in Caversham are an absolutely wonderful team, after my pet was attacked I called Oakleys to try and get her checked over the receptionist Juliet was so caring and lovely on the telephone and once we got there herself Mia Harriet and the receptionists all went above and beyond on our first and following visits. I can never thank them enough for everything, I would highly recommend this vets practice they truly care about every animal that comes to them.

So far so good. Excellent advice and fair prices for specialist cat food. There was a 45 minute delay for the vet yesterday but no idea if that's a blip as never seen that there before. Lovely s...
So far so good. Excellent advice and fair prices for specialist cat food. There was a 45 minute delay for the vet yesterday but no idea if that's a blip as never seen that there before. Lovely staff, nice setting. NO experience of surgery or major treatment, but for basic ongoing care they are fine. I'm staying with them!

Fantastic friendly and helpful vets. They do healthy pet club subscriptions which is a great easy way to ensure you get vaccinations and check ups and keep costs down.

Vets seem like your usual professionals but receptionists are far from it. At best they look bored at other times they're standoffish. Arrived to pick up dogs' tablets at 12:49pm on a Saturday and as I pulled into the car park they TURNED OFF THE LIGHTS AND LOCKED THE DOOR!!!
They didn't know that I saw. They didn't know what I was arriving for - maybe I had a problem? They closed at 1pm but still, it is a regular thing and takes 1 minute to fulfil! However, I thought, what if I needed singe quick advice or to see a vet urgently?
Their monthly pet Plan is good value but you have to visit every 3 months which is onerous. The admin don't care. Their prices are standard. 3* because of geography and no bad experience with the professionals yet.

We registered both our pets with Oakley when we moved into the area 18 months ago. Being new to an vets is always a concern especially when one of them had quite a complex condition. But Jess Pennock and the whole team at Oakley were amazing as they really care and go the extra mile - We were very grateful when Jess diagnosed hyperthyroidism in our cat, her experience and in-depth knowledge enabled us to get him the required treatment in the early stages and has given him a new lease of life given he's 19 years old. We cant fault the high level of care we have received at Oakley and we were very sad that we've had to leave due to moving out of the area. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this veterinary practice to anyone looking for a vets and we will really miss Jess and the team.

Oakley vets in Caversham are an absolutely wonderful team, after my pet was attacked I called Oakleys to try and get her checked over the receptionist Juliet was so caring and lovely on the telephone and once we got there herself Mia Harriet and the receptionists all went above and beyond on our first and following visits. I can never thank them enough for everything, I would highly recommend this vets practice they truly care about every animal that comes to them.

So far so good. Excellent advice and fair prices for specialist cat food. There was a 45 minute delay for the vet yesterday but no idea if that's a blip as never seen that there before. Lovely staff, nice setting. NO experience of surgery or major treatment, but for basic ongoing care they are fine. I'm staying with them!

We registered both our pets with Oakley when we moved into the area 18 months ago. Being new to an vets is always a concern especially when one of them had quite a complex condition. But Jess Pennock and the whole team at Oakley were amazing as they really care and go the extra mile - We were very grateful when Jess diagnosed hyperthyroidism in our cat, her experience and in-depth knowledge enabled us to get him the required treatment in the early stages and has given him a new lease of life given he's 19 years old.
