We have sadly left Medivet after 16 years of being with Kynock. A number of reasons for this decision – ranging from a cold and insensitive manner in talking to us, discontinuity of the vets seeing us, incorrect information being fed back to us on occasion by receptionist staff, and an over emphasis on talking payment at inappropriate times. The old ethos of Kynock has gone. Having just joined a new practice, the difference is immediate and one of the best decisions we have ever made. We now have the support we needed to see our elderly dogs though until the very end. Fond farewells to the old Kynock team; Ben, Nick, Phil, Mandy, Melanie and especially Jane – thank you for your care and valued support through the years. Read Less

Disappointed with how much money I was charged. I feel all too many vets are just a money making scheme now. I had 3 rats that all together took no more than 10-15 minutes of the vets time for all 3 where I had to prompt her to check certain things it wasn't was if she just got stuck in giving them a thorough check. I was given no real helpful advice and left feeling worse than when I came in. I got no medication or anything yet that visit cost me £56 which is disgusting. I have been to another vet that cost just £19.00 for check up and antibiotics. I will not be coming to this vets again for that reason. I will not be taken advantage of. I really wonder what exactly I paid for that day. Read Less

I have been going to this Veterinary Practice for 10+ years, and the quality of care is top notch. They have a dedicated surgical branch in Finchampstead to complete more difficult procedures, as well as s, and there is always someone you can callerving the local population in that area 24/7. My biggest complaint is a small one: they are a tad on the pricey side. Overall, I would highly recommend Ben and the team at Kynoch Vets Wokingham. Read Less

I was searching the area for a Vet that was Raptor (Birds of Prey) trained and experienced, as most of the few Vets so trained are out of the Farnborough/Fleet area. As luck would have it, a word of mouth tip off, brought me to the Kynoch Vets in Wokingham and the lovely Selene who was in her last months pregnancy pending the birth of her first. Donny, my Gyr/Perre/Lugger Falcon had punctured the bottom of both his feet with his own talons whilst flying to the lure. All the normal treatments were to no avail and he required surgery to clean the wounds and antibiotics to clear the infection. Selene carried out several procedures on both feet and had advised that the prognosis was not good at his early visits. He is such a good teaching and display bird that giving up was not an option and today he is fully recovered, he has good grip and speed with his feet and his flying is spectacular. Many thanks to Selene and the team at Kynoch Vets in Wokingham. If you have Birds of Prey and need a top class Vet to treat them, give them a call. Read Less

I had a terrible experience at kynoch Wokingham. I was referred here to see the 'exotic specialist', it was clear from the moment that I walked in that she was not interested in helping my guinea pig. After a 2 minute examination she came to the conclusion that he had either of two problems which were both terminal. She gave no suggestions or advice and was very negative, she also told me that he would die within a few days and there was nothing that we could do about it. When we tried to ask questions it was very vague answers. We were then charged 40 for a 5 minute consultation with no tests or medication. We then went back to our previous vet who was very helpful and clearly caring, she gave me lots of tests and medication to help him for much less money. The tests also suggested that what the specialist had said was incorrect. I did not have a good experience here and I would not recommend the 'exotics specialist' to anyone. I have taken my pets to be treated at the Wokingham branch of Kynoch Vets for several years now. My main reason for choosing this practise is that the vets treat both domestic and exotic pets. Selene is an excellent vet and I have always trusted her completely. It is clear that she really cares about the animals she treats. She is extremely professional and knowledgeable when dealing with my rabbits and cats, but also with my chickens. I would highly recommend Selene as being a totally professional vet, but also with a lovely kind and thoughtful manner.

Feel free to call anytime today. Read Less
