St Vincents Veterinary Surgery was opened in June 2005 in a small vacated dental premises in Wokingham. From humble beginnings the practice quickly grew, both in numbers of clients and reputation.
Their philosophy has always been to provide a welcoming and safe environment for clients and pets alike, and to make owners feel confident and informed in their decision making when it comes to the care of their animals.

I had lost faith in Vets after a few bad experiences where I had proof that money had been the priority and not my dog.
A friend recomended St Vincents.
Soon after I needed help for my dog and gave them a call. Micheal was unique and i was actually shocked by his total commitment for what was best for my dog and how WE would work together to sort him out, his interest and level of detail was reassuring and new.
St Vincents have seen Buddha a couple of times since over the past few years and proved to me i had found he best vet for Buddha if i needed them.I have been impressed and then re-assured when our previous chats have been brought into the mix when we have met and felt like Buddha was always remembered and appreciated. I lost my job at one point and they proved that money was not their priority
i had found a great vet.who cared. You want in you life a good plumber a good electrician and a great Vet.So i was happy i had found the best.
On Tuesday his week my 15 year old best friend kept me up all night and it was clear to me he was going to move on after conversations with supportive night vets. We agreed to wait till the morning to decide what to do next. I rang St Vincents at 8.30am on the dot after being up with Buddha all night and was greeted by a member of staff who was expecting my call and had already reserved a slot for him to see the vet as soon as i could get there.
My best friend was looked after with the love and respect I needed. Micheal called me after the right tests had been done and asked me to come back in and have a chat and look at the X-rays.
I spent nearly an hour with my best friend when it was clear it was time and right for him to move on, i will never forget how much Buddha and my needs and our last time together was the teams priority. The most horrible time and situation i have had for many years could not have been supported better than the St Vincents team and Michael did.
A really horrible few days I feel like i have lost my shadow. But i cannot say thank you enough to this brilliant Veterinary Surgery team and its fabulous leader for their professional and amazing support and efforts.

A truly exceptional veterinary surgery who have cultivated a welcoming environment and a very professional team. It is a rarity in life to find people with genuine empathy not only for the animals but also the human client. We are delighted with the care our dogs have received and wish we had found St Vincent's sooner.
To any one thinking of choosing a vet practice I couldn't recommend Michael and his lovely team more strongly.

Having had poor experiences over the years with my local vets practice (which is within walking distance from my house), I was recommended St Vincent's. Today I had cause to visit the practice and although they had come very highly recommended I was still extremely nervous - I shouldn't have been!! My whole experience from ringing up, registering with the practice and bringing my cat along to her appointment was lovely. I was greeted and spoken to in a very friendly and professional manner. Our vet (Katie) took the time to thoroughly check my cat out, explain what was happening to her and recommend a course of action and I left feeling not only relieved but positive. Thank you so much. The short drive was definitely worth it and I have no hesitation in using the practice in future and also recommending it myself.

Michael and the team are incredible. Always going the extra mile for animals and their owners. My cat had an operation there as an emergency and we were kept up to date with how she was doing, and called when she was reday to collect. He explained all that had been done and reassured us all was ok. Always In a way that is not rushed, and always made to feel welcome in a friendly environment. Definately the best vet we have ever used and will continue to use and recommend for many years! Thank you St. Vincents! :)

I've known Michael for a number of years now and I cannot recommend him and his team enough. Professionalism, kindness, competence and experience are the words that spring to mind when thinking about the practice. Michael always has the time to answer my numerous questions and I like the fact that he isn't a vet that 'pumps drugs at everything, at all costs'. His love of animals is genuine and my dogs can sense it too. I changed practice for a while as this other one was within walking distance, but I soon regretted it and went back to St Vincents. To me, the best vets in the area.

I have to say after some really bad experience with my local vet now being taken over by a franchise, I visited Michael with my very poorly dog and with scepticism. After just a few minutes in, I realised that Michael had passion, understanding, a comnection with Alfie and just as importantly with me. He was extremely knowledgable, honest and friendly. Within a few minutes Michael had no hesitation in taking us for a guided tour behind the scenes. Here I was able to see how very clean everywhere was incl operating theatres along with more great equipment and facilities. I am so grateful to have found St Vincents and not surprised they came with such great recomendation. Thanks to Michael, Alfie is now back to his bouncy ways and I too would not hesitate in recommending him.

Great caring staff. Dr. Michael has a wonderful manner with both his patients and their humans! Came here after our old vet couldn't diagnose or treat our ill dog -St. Vincent's had him back in action and his old self in a few hours! So glad we found them!

I have been using St Vincent's for the last 8 years and have always found everyone, Vets and receptionists to be helpful, they keep you informed about all the treatment your pet requires and are sensitive to both pets and owners alike. My dog Taffy is never worried about walking in through the door and is happy to see everyone. I would highly recommend this practice for all you rpet needs.

Michael has been treating my dogs since about 2000. I wouldn't go to any other vet (although I am sure there are occasions, he wishes I would !! ) I'm a frequent visitor and when our last mishap occurred at the end of November on a Saturday morning Michael was brilliant, phoning me several times on the Sunday to see how Clio was. I am always recommending him to other people especially when I do home checks for a greyhound charity I volunteer with. All the staff are always helpful and make us feel very welcome. The only vet for us!!

I luckily came across Michael and the surgery through recommendation on Facebook and can't thank the person who posted enough. Michael and his team are amazing, they have helped us through some tough times, and always been so informative and supporting of our sick doggies. Their kindness and compassion shines through everything they do. St Vincents veterinary is the best vet arourd the Berkshire area. All the staff are friendly and really care! My puppy loves visiting as she is well treated and welcomed with open arms (and sneaky treats) every time. I travel from Bracknell to wokingham just to make sure my pup is in the best hands, I fully recommended to anyone who wishes for the best health and less traumatic visits for their loved ones.

I have been using St Vincent's for the last 8 years and have always found everyone, Vets and receptionists to be helpful, they keep you informed about all the treatment your pet requires and are sensitive to both pets and owners alike. I luckily came across Michael and the surgery through recommendation on Facebook and can't thank the person who posted enough. Michael and his team are amazing, they have helped us through some tough times, and always been so informative and supporting of our sick doggies. Their kindness and compassion shines through everything they do. From routine health checks to poorly pups, thank you so much it's not very often you find such a dedicated team that go even further than that mile!!! Good luck for the new premises!

St Vincents veterinary is the best vet arourd the Berkshire area. All the staff are friendly and really care! My puppy loves visiting as she is well treated and welcomed with open arms (and sneaky treats) every time. I travel from Bracknell to wokingham just to make sure my pup is in the best hands, I fully recommended to anyone who wishes for the best health and less traumatic visits for their loved ones.
