Always extremely friendly and helpful to us and our naughty doggies. The admin staff are friendly and professional and Leslie Kenmuir, the vet who normally deals with our dogs, clearly adores them and is very knowledgeable.
On the occasions we have had to take our mutts to 'Headquarters' in Zetland Road when we've had out-of-hours disasters, the staff and service there have been excellent too.

I love this vet. We have had cats with them for the past 10 years and a dog for the past 6 months. They are very friendly, really helpful and full of great advice. The care that our old cat received when he had a kidney infection was perfect especially as we had to deal with the trauma of putting him to sleep.
I would recommend this vet to anyone

The staff are always friendly and have a sense of humour so it's always enjoyable visiting - even the dogs enjoy going as they are always fussed over! They're also affordable and realistic when it comes to treatment, always ensuring they offer the best possible solution.

Best vets ever, so caring and helpful all the vets, nurses and receptionists are so nice . They have their own hospital so they have instant access to your pets medical history. Recently lost one of my boys but a very sad event was eased by the care and compassion of the night staff at zetland vetinary hospital, highly recommend using them. Thanks to you all,in particular leslie and sarah at the fishponds practice for being so helpful and caring

This used to be known as the Veterinary Vaccination Clinic, which is a good change as that makes it sound like it only does vaccinations!This is part of the Bristol-wide Zetland Veterinary group which has its main clinic in Zetland Road, Redland. For major operations you will be sent there but this branch can handle all injections and recently upgraded to be able to handle several operations including dentistry. Being part of a group, and being connected to the local vet school, means that if you don't go in very often you won't get the same vet twice. However the reception staff are pretty solid so you will always get a familiar face who probably remembers your pet's name. If your pet does have to have lots of treatment, I had my cat in particular before she died have a series of tests and treatments, then I got to see the same vet the whole way through at Zetland, so it isn't as chaotic as it sounds. The vets have all been amazing and very understanding whether we've been blubbing with tears in their reception or having an excited puppy jumping up at them. Prices are average, about £20 consulting fee. They will get anything you need in stock the next day from a certain brand of worming tablet to nail clippers - again a bonus of being a group. I just got a letter through to say that on Tuesdays they will soon be open late which is great for those petowners at work!

Always extremely friendly and helpful to us and our naughty doggies. The admin staff are friendly and professional and Leslie Kenmuir, the vet who normally deals with our dogs, clearly adores them and is very knowledgeable.
